I don’t understand what you mean by you reversed the pickup ring…can you explain?
@RichSeversonGuitar5 сағат бұрын
The high side of the ring is closer to the neck

Not many out there to be found through the normal used guitar outlets.

That sounds so damn good - so mellow and silky smooth. Not sure what that full chord style of playing is in jazz, but it epitomizes that Gibson hollow body jazz sound 👏👏

The Heritage is my choice here. I will have to play the golden eagle and the eagle classic to see what feels better.

What’s the price point on each of these? Ball park figures would be good….

Really hard to judge the two guitars thisw way. This guy could string a couple old telephone wires across a wooden apple crate and make it sound great!!🤣🤣🤣

I own an Eastman SB59/v, and the T59/v will be my next guitar purchase. I own two Gibsons. Love my LP Standard 50s with P90s, but my LP Classic is average at best. Uninspiring and not worth what I paid for it. Come to think of it, perhaps I'll sell the Classic and that'll get me 3/4 of the way to a T59/v AND an Eastman SB56.

They all sound beautiful! To me, you seem to take just a bit more time in phrasing when playing the L5, like it wants you to listen just a bit more. It has such a soul warming essence.

I'm glad they talked a little and compared this to the Eastman guitar. I'm trying to decide whether to get this or an Eastman 503. can't decide....

Hi, I own a 2014 Ibanez AS153-TQS. Specs wise (to me) it compares to the Gibson 347. Did you ever play an Ibanez AS153? Do you know how it compares to the 347? Kind regards from Belgium ;-)

In order to decide if an ES 150 is a guitar to play blues or jazz on you should ask guys like Kirk Fletcher or Duke Robillard. The 150 is very versatile.
@SecretSauce87 күн бұрын
how does this guitar compare to the AR503? It's so hard to really distinguish and judge if it's that much better.

The first question i'd ask to anyone charging $4,300 for their Guitars would be, is it better than a Heritage? They're the best i've ever heard and they don't even cost that much, most of the time.
@4578a7 күн бұрын
How much are these? You'd do way better with an Eastman. Ok less than $500

Sounds fine but you can hear the low action and too much bias on the pick up. These big boys deserve to have the acoustic side come out in force.

Funny I've been working up Killing me Softly and stumbled upon your video because I was also looking at various amp solutions. Nice playing. You must be using flat wounds on that L5 - sounds so quiet and silky. I like your compact and efficient movement across the fretboard. That ES-150 looks just like mine that I sold regrettably. My go-to arch top is a blonde Martin CF-1. Cheers.
