Might have to change my mind about the ‘youth of today’.. if I could offload my sponging daughters to someone like you I’d be perfectly happy - much preferable to the Fiesta driving twats they seem to attract. MrElectricSkittles haha - what that my daughters are spongers or the Fiesta comment?! They hang about with some right tools. Struggle to string a sentence together and their smashed-through-Halfords-shopfront cars leak oil on my lovely drive! They think I’m an old codger with a Volvo - they need to feel the power of the D4 with a massive 190hp that weighs nearly 2 tonnes.. (not a lot) Might try to incorporate ‘gassed’ or even ‘super gassed!’ In my conversations with other old codgers at work.. normally our conversations are about MPG, how great our childhood was.. and what caravan boring Brian is buying next 😭. Cheers.

Manual supercars doing 3.2 to 60 must pull so hard mid gear considering this is just about doing it with quick DSG shifts! 3.29 is crasy fast though man, what a car

Holy shit, 3.29 in a family hatchback. Amazing bud 👍🏼 I own a Mk7 Golf GTI Performance and absolutely love it. However, I drove a 2019 Golf R with the Akrapovic exhaust and it blew me away how quick it was, especially in the corners. Might have to upgrade to an R after watching this 🤔

Much more in this car mate.. 0-60 isn't where the Stage 3 cars show the gains over Stage 2. It's all about grip/launch/conditions etc on this benchmark. Our Stage 2 has cracked the 3.1's on a perfect run, but it would get mauled by a Stage 3 car when rolling.. Would love to see what yours is running 100-200kmh/60-130mph? This is where they haul ass!!!

These are great times Jamie. I think you do really well to keep the wheel spin under control. The Haldex can be a bit slow hooking up the rears. This series of vids about the Golf R has been superb.

Got a 7.5 golf R estate myself just in the process of getting stage 2 map done on it has scorpion de cat, airtec front mount,Ramair induction kit, bigger turbo elbow, and ress delete,not to forget just had coil over kit fitted once it's all set up love to show you the results OG bruda

Amazing acceleration. I think you were quicker than when I drove a Ferrari 430 Spider the other day at Hampden Downs 0-60 maybe not 0-100. Great fun though. Great thumbs up.

Closed filter is better. Open its sucking hot air. I've got the ram air kit on my r53 but it's in a box which I've put rubber trim round so the bonnet seals it. Also got a shuttle tube to get all that cold air in

Great Vid and cracking result. Be great to see this on the Autobahn for top speed and 100 to 200kmh etc. I'm guessing this must be very low 4's or better 60 to 100mph. Would love this turbo on my Cupra Sub 8.

Mate I have the R600 air filter box and main reason was simply, cause it looks more stealthy and looks OG if police pull Me up hahaha, but found lower speed, you hear it sucking more and better sound.

Left vent/driver side intake section is passive oil cooling my guy. Using the Forge, racingline, and unitronic (w/ air duct) intakes blocks airflow. Not a huge deal but oil temps will be higher with that intake.
