Ya gotta know, I go to sleep with your skating, because you are such an amazing human being who found his place and threw it to the heavens and always make me smile, at 65 and a half, and work a 50 hour week, a widow, just getting the mortgage paid off, only 4 years and 7 months to go. You totally keep me inspired, thank you Scott, thank you all you give me.

Watching Scott on the ice; it's hard to imagine that he was ever anything but a gold medal winner. He's truly an inspiration to anyone who faces adversity and shows us what can be accomplished when you push through the adversity. Thank you, Scott.

I can’t begin to express my admiration, respect and genuine affection for this wonderful man. He faced and not only overcame his childhood illnesses but became more than a conqueror. He faced steep challenges in a sport that has a certain emphasis on style and a standard expectation for appearance, and again, he preserved and turned what seemed like weakness into his most recognizable strength. He has faced serious medical challenge after serious medical challenge and they have not destroyed his spirit or his kindness or his joy and gratitude, and so in this most important way he is, again, more than a conqueror.

This guy is just so easy to love. He's energetic, graceful, demonstrates great accuracy in his difficult moves, and his joy is infectious. He loves what he's doing, and I love watching him. ❤

Those were the days of skating and the skaters who knew what they were doing and were so entertaining as well. There are so many skaters that I have watched and enjoyed, but I have to say that Scott Hamilton is my favorite! Bless his heart ! He's been through so much but still keeps going...such an inspiration to so many.. And as Archie Bunker would say,"Those were the days"!

Scott headed several “Stars On Ice” tours that came to my city. I was so thrilled to see him and his personality floats right off that ice to you. He’s the greatest in every way. I was so terrified and upset when he was diagnosed with cancer that first time. But God is using Scotty for a much bigger purpose. I’m thankful he remains well, and teaches us all important life lessons. God bless and keep Scotty and his family.

I use to dream I could ice skate , we used to pretend when we found some ice on the ground when we were little. I always loved watching Scott Hamilton always wished I would have got to meet him on tour with the other favorites. Never got to go to stars on ice so disappointing. He is was and always will be amazing.

How is he able to fall from his jumps so slowly?

I don't like that men's skating has come down to whether or not you can do a quad jump. There is a lot more to the sport than a jump as scott embodies. Truly he is a champion on ice.

Scott definitely did it his way.⛸️⛸️⛸️ From the first time he put on a pair of skates.
