NO male skater was or is as powerfully elegant as Sergei. He was a manly man; yet, he was so elegant.

I believer it was Scott Hamilton who said that G & G's skating is of another space and time that the world won't see again. 27 years later and I haven't seen any couple remotely close to the elegance, grace and passion that these two possessed. I feel privileged to have grown up during their time together and watch it all unfold.

The way he holds her, the way he looks at her...pure love. I have never seen a couple on ice skating with such a beautiful harmony.

Never before, never again. The kind of love that every woman only dreams about.

I'm trying to get the English version of Unchained Melody routine they did. It was so phenomenally emotional that I still get chills just remembering their routine. He was such a handsome and gentlemanly guy and so tenderly attentive to her. There'll never be another Sergei in her world or ours.

25 years and I still shed tears when I watch these videos. There never was and I believe never will be a pair that stole our hearts like Sergei and Katia.

The way Sergei presented Katie on the ice was so dynamic and absolutely beautiful! He set her down so softly it was as if she was floating. I’ll never forget hearing that he had passed away. I cried for the love they shared and of course, Daria! 🌹💔🌹

This beautiful montage of Sergei and Katia, the greatest Pairs skaters of all time, makes me cry whenever I watch it. The song, Somewhere in Time, is so beautiful and you can see the love they had for each other. Sergei was so gentle with Katia doing all the moves and it is all so breathtaking but their love story is so beautiful but so sad! God bless Katia and Daria and her 2nd daughter, Liza.🙏💖🙏

Please be happy for Katia, she is now married to David Pelletier, skater from Canada, they are very much in love and also look wonderful together on the ice. No one could ever compare to these two but just so happy for Katia that she has found love again.

Such a lovely tribute! Thank you. I will never forget the day he died. I saw G&G a couple of times in person and I am so glad. Who would have thought he would have died so young. Katia was so brave to carry on. I still love them and always enjoy seeing her over the years❤️.

They are a legacy never to be forgotten and still to this missed by all. They skated with such grace and elegance... performed so many masterpieces that even today take the time to see them grace through the ice. Thank you for the beautiful montage.

I hope you read this one day it doesn't get easy I lost my husband I loved him so much I will never remarry because he's was my lover my friend my Confidant my sweet dear husband and now he's gone and he's in heaven everyday I don't stop thinking of him it's going on three years now and I'm still thinking about him so when you're thinking about him it's okay this is good and this is normal don't you let anybody tell you not to cry anymore or think about him because I think about him every day and I don't listen to people when they tell me that and they say to me you'll find somebody else no no one can fit in my husband shoes no one but just Jesus
