I run the Icheck system, can't say I have an issue reading the display, but it is mounted directly in front of me, not centrally which may not be ideal. I ellected to run the 4 vehicle tyres & 4 caravan tyres only as I can see zero advantage in monitoring the spares, they're not likely to get punctured unless on the road. Hence vehicles tyres about 10 seconds, then caravan tyres for 10 seconds, repeat, repeat. Once I don't wish to monitor caravan tyres, its just a program step, hold down "Set" & "+" for 5 seconds and car tyres only display continuously, hence i suspect you'd be able to do same & just monitor vehicle 4 tyres only continuously. Hope this helps.

Definitely annoying switching back and forth. I’m really only interested in the trailer. The car already has sensors.

The best tpms I've had today

My icheck tpms internal monitor battery only lasted about 18 months and they're "not replacable" so icheck tell me. I contacted them as they have a 2 year warranty but conveniently not on the batteries. I was instead offered to buy another monitor for $99. I advised perhaps they should make them easily replacable in which the customer can purchase and replace themselves. I've looked into replacing myself and it looks like they're a 2 pin cheap chinese lithium polymer battery for less than $5 and can be purchased online from numerous places and replaced by anyone really.

Yes. Your annoyances are the same as mine.. the system also should be easier to configure via an app. Pushing buttons for setting levels for 6 tyres is cumbersome. As you have to push the centre button a lot mine eventually gave way.. looking inside the metal it sits on bent. Possibly weakened by heat.

Interesting. 6 mins of video from another video, 2 mins as to why it's not a good system. All about the display. As for the 5th sensor, it's the spare. Not really that critical, is it? You check it before the trip. Should be fine. In any case, the unit has audible alarms to alert you to a pressure/temp change. THEN you or your passenger looks at it. Same for cars with built in TPMS. It's usually hidden under a menu for the dash display but will beep if it sees an anomaly. Haven't heard of widespread complaints about that. But having said that, I do incorporate a tyre pressure screen on an Android phone which is bluetooth'ed to the car's OBB2 reader and which also measures other data points. Mainly used when towing the van.

Nice "review" on how it looks 😂. Too bad if i want to know if it actually works or not. 😂 This is a great monitoring option, good luck finding another one that has an offroad mode. You think this one is "annoying"? Try listening to wall to wall alarms, from most other units that don't have the offroad mode, whenever you air down. Your vid was really a total waste of a click.
