Suuuuuper late reply here, but it's actually a relatively common linguistic phenomenon for people who are married to each other to eventually adopt similar patterns of speech to the other. It may result in altering an accent entirely. My mother was born in South Africa and after about less than 10 years of marrying my dad, she began losing her accent and began speaking English like an American.

Poor Hillary. People forget this was 1992. Often people turned a blind eye to their husband's infidelity for the sake of the marriage (much better than divorce in my opinion). To have that deal is one thing. To then have to go on national TV to talk about it is another. Utterly humiliating.

You clearly have a skewed perception of what feminism is. Sometimes men and women cheat; that's a fact of life. It isn't anti-feminist to stay with a a partner that has been unfaithful. It IS anti-feminist to suggest that a woman MUST stay with a cheating spouse because women are to be deferential to their husbands.

And out of the blue she has to take a swipe at Tammy Wynette. A poor woman from Mississippi who had to go to half a dozen cosmetology schools before getting her hair dressing certificate. The reason was she was 'standing by her man' who moved around so much looking for full time employment. Tammy had more talent and integrity in her little finger than the two of them put together. I heard an interview with T.W. where she said she would have liked nothing better than to "stay home bakin cookies" for her dear children. But she like Hillary was trying to make something out of her life at great sacrifice of time with family. I see Mrs. Clinton's hallmark as being a mean spirited greedy person demonstrated by half bake little cookies of hate towards all of us. Something is WRONG with her.

Hillary was an attractive woman but, when menopause sets in for women, men don't experience this hormonal change so, it was up to Bill to Stand By His Woman as she has Bill. I am Conservative as a MAN can be. Meaning, you do not step out on your wife for life. I cannot believe I am sharing this as destesting feminism "I'm not going to stay home baking cookies?" What a put down to women for centuries which turn most MEN off Ms. Clinton. Therein, she messed up for what ever reasons and, perhaps Chelsea gets this? They could have had many children BUT this would interfere with Hillary's AMBITIONS behaving like a MAN. Case closed.

This is a fallacy of equivocation, via your strawman argument... I don't like the Clinton's either, but I really hate liars... and people employing intellectual dishonesty. Just because you don't speak words longer than three syllables doesn't mean other people do not. People in the professional world also tend to focus on "precision" (whether they're planning to manipulate or approach a given subject), rather than words that can be "equivocated" -- like you did above -- due to a perceived in/convenience.

The part I care about is that he lied (about Flowers). To lie is the part I hate most. What he should have done, is what he did later in this interview, which was to say intermarital affairs, infidelity, or the contents of intimacy or intimate relationships in ones marriage, or in one's personal life, are of no business to anyone else. The only possible instance where such things would be germain is if he were advocating for, as president, the repeal of divorce laws, or something along the lines of marriage itself.
