I wish Casio had matte-finished the MR-G bracelet but left the rivets polished - it would have shown those rivets off nicely like the raw Titanium model D. That red-line does shimmer - your vids finally sold me on the MR-G. I like the gold caseback, too! The sound of that clasp-lock snapping ranks up there with the Black Bay bezel clicking. All very satisfying. It really is the flagship.

The different optical effects are due to slight differences in the optical characteristics between sapphire and mineral crystal glass. Then there are additional differences due to the anti reflective coating applied to the sapphire crystal. The paint printed on the sapphire crystal also appears slightly reflective because the sapphire surface is smoother than mineral glass. Is the difference worth £4,000? Frankly, no. Even the addition of all the machined shock absorber spring mechanisms rather than a foam cushion, together with gold coated electrical contacts and connectors, doesn’t justify the cost. However if the cost is assessed against limited availability and demand, then it makes sense in the same way that Rolex command high prices for their watches. These are in very much the same territory in terms of manufacture and finish. Where Casio wins out over other brands is that you can have a watch with identical specifications in a plastic case for £100, a full metal case for £400, Titanium case and bracelet for £1,500, or the MRGs for £4,000. While the functionality remains the same, you are paying the extra for a piece of wrist jewellery and that’s a good thing, because no one has to miss out when it comes to actual performance.

Have you noticed that scratches easily accumulate on the silver titanium cobarium bezel?

I’ve seen both of these squares in person and held in my hand but honestly they look too into your face with that wanna be luxury appearance. My favorite ones up to this day are the first two titanium twins a.k.a. stealthwealth and the Camouflage. The later versions all seem to be afterthoughts and excessively overdone for marketing. For me personally analogue mr-g is the way to go especially with the technology involved in it😉

is this mrg is more scratch resistant than the others BLACK TITANIUM DLC MRG's? Because its shiny ...?!

Is it just me or every square has a bulge at the 6 o'clock position, meaning the 'brick' film isn't laying flat across the dial? It is as if they are laid over something bumpy underneath.

Where we can find this MRG beauty? Is there any online store in EU selling it?
