@defaultfriend4577 is a gem. She truly understands that there are some pernicious forces out against young women. She locates the problem of technology as an isolating and perverting force in our society. For instance, in this conversation she mentions not ghettoizing your child to a toy kitchen when you can include them in your real kitchen. This is apparent to people when they read it, but not so much when they're in the real "meat space." Modern liberalism and the advent of technology has created certain problems and also purports to be the answer to them. You see this with things like UBI, universal pre-k, arranged playdates, etc. Again, Katherine rightly understands that these are unique problems borne out of technology and the culture that surrounds it. Would like to see her revive her channel on here a bit more. Good conversation.

You know not to roll this towards dudes, but your discussion about "tenderness" all you need to see how much this is missing is to call any dude "honey" or "sweetheart" when you ask them something. I have seen others and have been myself melted by those words.

At 45 minutes, you wonder why women focus on 30 years old. That is because men traditionally married around then, after they got their handle on business. Putting women in an integrated workforce is largely trying to get them to adopt the ethics and habits of men. It makes tons of sense for a man to wait until his 30s to get married, but it probably doesn't work for women nearly as well. Just statistically, you are going to be much more likely to find a younger spouse if you are a man than a woman.

I've been wondering... who are the people you guys call boomers? I ask because I'm 43 and I always feel like you're referring to my age group but we're Gen xers. Our parents (you're grandparents) are the baby boomer generation.
