What is wrong with a woman choosing to have a career in the field that she likes? While I have nothing against women who choose to be housewives, why can't people understand that that is not what every woman wants. Even women who are homemakers sometimes enter the workforce at some future point in her life. The point is that women have the right to choose their life path

I liked the Barbie but also felt the ending let us down. Erich Neumann posited a sort of Heroine’s journey in his analysis of Amor and Psyche…

First time listener, it took me til the end to understand the name of your channel. I’m probably 20 years older than you, but you spoke from my life: the realization that that Girlboss feminist narrative isn’t a software that is good for family. Lovely conversation.

People being so obsessed with the bedroom lives of strangers is a sign of insanity. Then repeatedly lying to each other and their fans about it is even sadder.

I hadn't realised until a few years ago the very significant effect the Pill could have on women's preferences in men - it seems to me that before any huge step like marriage a woman should come off The Pill for 6 months to see what alterations in desire if any occur regarding her potential life partner.

They should have called the book “the anything goes family” instead of “the laissez-faire family”. That’s hilarious that they used a title they didn’t know what it meant. Therefore it’s a sad indicator that they went out of business.

Essential sets of questions to be pondering, thanks for this episode. I'm one of those 'unplanned childless' in Jordan Peterson's words and, I don't know, the thought that a child is undesirable naturally strikes me as odd, even though I understand the sentiment.

It all stems from men and women refusing to see the Face of God in each other. If you truly love someone, you will try to get them to heaven and you would not risk them losing their souls through sins of lust.

Bishop Fulton Sheen advised Bella Dodd not to reveal the names of he traitors who had infiltrated the Catholic and Protestant Churches, the government, Congress, the Senate, the CIA, NASA, etc. because it would have shaken Americans' confidence in the system. I believe that the traitors should have been denounced.

Great conversation. I have been blessed with very motherly grandmas and mom and when I started to become more independent get jobs go to college become married to my husbands family I have almost repulsed by the majority of women I have encountered. I think it is the just apposition to what I was used to and I still struggle with seeing so much narcissism in so many women. Many of these women are successful but I always think how miserable they must really be.

in the 1960s there was a small portion of the population that wanted revolution. The media and the univerities convinced women to enter the work force to lower wages. The differences women knew their place and men knew theres. Now some women want to be stay at homes moms. Lets be honest women want it all. Women like Carrie are still femminist never forget.

Katy Faust is doing good work with Them Before Us and I love ❤️ how she words things and it’s about putting the desires of adults before the rights of children to be children. How we value children determines who we are as a nation.

NJ also changed their laws to permit “gestational surrogacy” after the LGBT lobby groups lobbied the state legislature. There had been a blanket ban on surrogacy since the 80s and the Baby M case, which happened there in NJ. Mary Beth, the surrogate in that case, had been paid to use her own eggs too. The “gestational surrogacy” gambit is an end run around the mother having any rights to the child she carries.

We can solve this problem by giving women equality, real equality! Women will reject it once they have real equality. So no more special p protections for women. For example - prison rape. Currently 100% of rapists are sent to male prisons and 0% of rapists are sent to women's prisons. The female prisoners receive protection that male prisoners do not receive. Equalise this - make it 50/50 - send half of the children rapists etc to female prisons or better yet just have a single prison for men and women together. The female prisoners can get the same protection the m a le prisoners get. Wo.en will find this level of equality as unacceptable.

How do we boost fathers without disadvantaging mothers? Notice the assumption in that question - We are not allowed to do anything that disadvantages mothers- we have no such concern if we disadvantage father's e.g. 90% of custody is given to the mother. See the difference?

There is an empathy gap between women and men in our society and most societies. A trivial example of this is the difference in provision of services for victims of domestic violence. The US has VAWA - the Violence Against Women Act and the bureaucracy it created to administers the response to this problem. There are thousands of shelters across tge US for female victims, less than a handful for male victims. Why? Because society cares about female victims and does not care about male victims. There is no VAMA act! In practical terms the shelters provide safety, support and therapy for fem a le victims. They provide isolation and demonisation for male victims.

What about equal opportunities - for men? Men have created lots of opportunities for women e.g. jobs in every industry, educational institutions, technologies etc. What opportunities have women created? For women or men. It is not equal is it. Yet women claim to want equal opportunities etc.. So what are modern women going to do to make up the deficit? There are so many industries, inventions, institutions, sports etc needed to be created by women to get anywhere near equality.

"We do not like being judged or judging the actions of others". I had to laugh out loud at that one! There is nothing women love more than harshly judging the actions of others! Both men and women! The aspect that is not discussed is how women externalise any bad outcomes for themselves. If she regrets a sexual encounter - it is his fault! Not hers. She had no part in the outcome. Also does she have to fix the issue or will she rely on the police, the media and others to save her reputation and self image?

When will women be required to get verbal consent from their male partners? This is a clear double standard. Men are required to get clear, verbal consent from his partner or risk a sexual assault allegation. Why are women not held to the same legal standard? Women do you ask for verbal consent, or do you infer consent from his actions and body language? Men who do the latter are convicted of rape. Men do your female partners ask for consent? Everytime?

When will the women who complained about Hervey Weinstein be prosecuted for corruption? The women complain that Weinstein required them to have sex with him in order to get a job. If They had paid him with cash, we would call it bribery. Why is bribing him with sex make them innocent victims? Are there any cases where a woman using sex to gain an advantage is held to account?
