Led by rulers such as Chandragupta and Ashoka the Great, the Mauryan Empire would be the largest empire ancient India had yet seen. Stretching across almost all of the Indian subcontinent into modern Afghanistan and Iran, the Maurya would develop close contacts with the Hellenistic world. We will look at the history and the inner workings of the empire, as recorded by the likes of Megasthenes and Chanakya, and see how this highly developed state managed to sustain itself from 320 to 185 B.C.

The FIRST FACT is the Mauryas were BLACK - The Mauryas Were of Sudra (INDUS KUSH) Origin - "Mudrarakshasa" - The Signet of the Minister is a historical play in Sanskrit by Vishakhadatta that narrates the ascent of King Chandragupta Maurya (c. 324 - 297 BCE) to power in India. It is dated from the late 4th to the 8th century. In the drama, Chandragupta is mentioned as “Vrishala, Kulahina, Mauryaputra”. From these terms, it is interpreted that Mauryas were of Sudra origin. SUDRA IS THE LOWEST CASTE IN THE ARYAN/HINDU CASTE SYSTEM Chandragupta Maurya - FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE THE FALL OF INDUS KUSH, 1500 YEARS EARLIER, India achieved political unity under the Maurya Dynasty of which Chandragupta Maurya was the founder. Justinian describes the story of liberation as follows. “India after the death of Alexander, the natives had shaken the yoke of servitude from its neck and put his governors to death. The author of this liberation was Sandrocottus (Chandragupta).” H.G. Wells wrote of Ashoka in his book 'The Outline of History': "Amidst the tens of thousands of names of monarchs that crowd the columns of history, their majesties and graciousnesses and serenities and royal highnesses and the like, the name of Ashoka shines, and shines, almost alone, a star"...King Ashoka's visit to the Ramagrama Stupa, Sanchi, Stupa 1 Southern Gateway - HINDUS DO NOT BUILD STUPAS The reason Ashoka built Stupas atop the ancient Indus Kush cities abandoned after the Aryan invasions around 1750 BCE, USING THE 'SAME BRICKS' FROM THE ANCIENT INDUS KUSH SITE, WAS TO ILLUSTRATE TO FUTURE GENERATIONS, THE CONSONANCE BETWEEN THE TENETS CONVEYED BY, THE BU-UDDHA (One Annointed), AND THOSE OF THE ANCIENT "PEACEMAKERS" OF INDUS KUSH (MEL-UDDHA), THE "LAND WHERE EVERYONE WAS A BU-UDDHA." Their Civilization (in the truest sense of the word) spanned 5600 years, WITHOUT WARS, WEAPONS, KINGS, RICH PEOPLE, OR GODS, 7300-1750 BCE. Check out the "Buddhist Stupa at Mohenjo Daro" renamed Mound of the Dead by Aryan/Hindu invaders. Built by legendary Buddhist King Ashoka, of the Mauryan Empire, c. 268 BCE. ASHOKA'S EDICTS WERE THE FIRST WRITTEN INSCRIPTIONS IN INDIA SINCE THE ANCIENT CITY OF HARRAPA (INDUS KUSH) FELL TO THE ARYANS 1500 YEARS EARLIER - Ashoka's first edict is the only impressive edict remaining in its original state since most of his other edicts were either dismantled and transported to places of national importance after their discovery or formalized into a national monument. Another rock edict of Ashoka in its original state is situated at Kalsi, near Vikas Nagar in Dehradun. The Buddhists taught the Aryan/Hindus how to write and then they had the temerity to rename the script 'Brahmi.' The OLDEST Vedic manuscript found in India, the "Dasa Griba Rakshash Charitram Vadha," was found in Kolkata and is dated to 800 CE, almost 1000 years AFTER Ashokas Edicts. The "Bower Manuscript," one of the earliest treatises on Indian medicine, Ayurveda, was discovered near a ruined "Buddhist Monastery" near Kuchar in Chinese Turkestan and is carbon dated to 400-600 CE, Gupta Dynasty. The Rock Edicts of Ashoka were famous for the messages of love and nonviolence they preached... One of the rock edicts reads as follows, “This progress among the people through Dhamma has been done by two means, by Dhamma regulations, and by persuasion. Of these, Dhamma regulation is of little effect, while persuasion has much more effect. The Dhamma regulations I have given are that various animals must be protected. And I have given many other Dhamma regulations also. But it is by persuasion that progress among the people through Dhamma has had a greater effect regarding harmlessness to living beings and non-killing of living beings...” The "Primordial Organizing Principle of Civilized Beings" has many names. In Mel-Uddha it was called "Uddha." In Kemit and Kush, it was called "Maat." The Bantu call it "Ubuntu." The people of Sah-Ba (Saaba), and Sah-Gigi (Sumer) called it "Ba-Sah." The Anu-Twa call it "Mwiwi." The Hongshan, Xia, Shang, Xi (Olmec), Maya, and Anu-Sahzi (Anasazi), and Hopi called it "Xi-Shu-Anu. They all convey the same Organizing Principle... "Collective Empathy for ALL Spirits based on Expanded Perception of the One Law." Knowledge of which is expressed through the "Sacred Science." We have little time left to avoid planetwide, and Empire-ending cataclysms of our own construction...

Lecture highly lacks historical fact checking. • Speaker apologized for mispronouncing Sanskrit. There is not single word of Sanskrit ever found in any Mauryan inscription or archaeology. Sanskrit didn’t exist • So much time given to dubious character Chanakya. There is not single mention of him until someone published Arth shashtra in 1868 without giving any references where did they found it. It was 20 years after discovery of Mouryan empire. Very little was known about empire itself but a book was found that doesn’t not mention any Muryan names or incidents. Language of Arthshashtra didn’t appear in any inscription. No manuscript ever been found which can be scientifically date any part of Chanakya prior to 1835 deciphering of Pali and Kharoshti

Term Vedic appears again and again. There is not single proof of such culture anywhere in India or oldest part of subcontinent Punjab. Not a single artifact, inscription, coin surfaced which can clearly be connected to Vedics. When thousands of such artifacts still appearing for Buddhist and Jains. People don’t bother to look at primary sources and ask critical questions. Alexander didn’t see any sign of Hinduism, Megathenises didn’t mention 4 caste system upon which Hinduism is built. Strabo walked in North West India he made no mention. But 20th century historians keep on referring each other without providing primary sources. Strabo was pissed at Seleucus’s handing over territory to Mauryan. Why he didn’t mention that Chandergupt had such brilliant minister in his disposal.

There are NO Indian sources of Muryans. Chandergupt’s name is still wrong. His name on inscription is Chandgut. Ashoka name surfaced first time in 1915. Nobody had clue who he was before that. Things are attached to him on circumstantial grounds and from Greek records. His name on inscription comes up as Asok not Ashoka. Wrong name made popular because it’s close to Sanskrit, a language that didn’t exist in any inscription. Every Buddhist account was imported after 1915 from China, Shri Lanka, Nepal and Burma. Nothing existed in India

There is zero evidence that any ruler used Chanakya’s political wisdom for 2200 years after him if he existed. How could a text survive without having any application.

47:00 is straight out misleading. Megasthenes did not mention caste system. He observed social order divided in 7 segments. No order of high or low. Scientists have proved with genetics that caste system started around 300 AD. Megasthenes is not wrong. It’s the people trying to put Vedic people in era where no evidence of their existence have found. Moreover Rigveda and it’s closest book Avesta doesn’t mention any caste system

Megasthenes uses word Brachhman which is translated to Brahmin. Experts conveniently ignore that Brachhman is same as word Brazman which appears in Daiva Inscription of Xerxes. Strabo calls rulers of Gandhara and Hindush Aryans, Ashoka architecture is mirror image of Persians. Megasthenes Brachhman is same as Persian philosopher Brazman. Rig Vedic priest is called Hother not Brahmin. Narrator needs more in-depth fact checking instead being Wikipedia reader
