I just bought a B8.5 SQ5 with the zf8 transmission. I purchased the stage 2 ecu tune and AL551/ZF8 TCU tune. I have been thrilled with the performance! Im getting caught up on all the little features the tunes have, including the advanced launch control. This video raises a question. I flashed 93 R7.2 +High Rev 7600 +Advanced Launch and R1.4.1 7200 Shift. My ECU file is a NON test pipe file and my advanced launch control sounds very different from what is in this video. I wish it would do the soft cut style of RPM control when in dynamic. In order to test out the "cat safe" soft cut style of launch control would i need to flash the test pipe file? Thank you!

Do the flames shoot out with test pipes and stock exhaust? Or do you need to go full straight pipe for that?

Hi, after 3 years of being desperate, I understood that 8HP (AL551) can be adapted for higher torque. I had engine swap (CGQB->CVUB) due to burned piston and the new engine is from facelift, but I was promised it was 100% same. Well since then the E clutch adaptation always ends up at -700mbar and that causes slight jerk on 1-2 and 5-6. More pressure to avoid slipping, however damages the E clutch I guess. That engine is puttin out more torque as the TCU is expecting, or at least TCU thinks it is more torque, because the dyno says 570Nm anyway. I have the 8HP55 transmission, but will try to update the AL551 TCU with facelift 8HP70 tranny software to see if it helps or not :-/ No one was able to help me for years with this, you gave me hope! Thanks!

What exhaust setup are you using in this video? Looking to pull the trigger on a setup and really loving the sound you got and of course the flames 🔥. I'm guessing awe back end, jhm test, but what you running mid? Need to purchase asap. Thanks for everything guys!

Tried flashing the new TCU tune from the beta file I had....It still says stage 1 on the drop down menu, however I did notice the file was revised with version 1.3......I'm stage 2+ though so on the drop down menu will it always say Stage 1 regardless of being 2+?? Or has my file probably not been sent the proper stage 2 TCU file yet?

I'm eventually getting a big turbo and CP3 fuel pump for my ZF8 equipped Q5 TDI (netting approximately 400whp and 600ft-lbs). Any chance the same trans tuning options apply?

I flashed my 2012 A6 3.0T with stage 1 ecu (testpipe file) and tcu tune in January 2022. Would that file have included the launch control or would I have to re-flash?
