Grog has an idea that may solve this whole pesky dragon issue. Percival brandishes his response...

Are you sure? If you are read on... Spoilers What ends up happening in the end is that Vax dies for good. The final episode has Vax saying goodbye to Vox Machina and going to the Raven Queen in his death

Percy gave Craven Edge to Grog knowing that it was sentient and said nothing to Grog about it. Grog is not the smartest character and only saw the strength the sword gave him not how evil it was. I love Percy as a character, but after the final Talks Machina discussions on the first campaign it is hard to defend him. He really is a horrible person, heroic and captivating but nevertheless horrible.

I think my favorite take on percy is the one from this musical with the sphinxes’ line to him ‘Why do you assume you’re the smartest in the room?’ Like that sums Percival up so perfectly to my mind.

@@HumbleCrow27 I'm 100% there with you. He's a hypercrite a lot of the times and uses his education to talk down to people. I've always hated his snooty attitude. I remember when VM was still in Emon right after it got destroyed and they went to The Clasp for help in protecting and looking after the remaining citizens. Percy and Keyleth got in an argument about accepting aid from The Clasp that was 100% going to bite them in the ass later because it was a heavily lopsided deal. Percy was talking to Keyleth saying he had experience leading people while Keyleth doesn't yet.... in reality Percy has never led Whitestone yet. Cassandra was left in charge right after the Briarwoods were killed while Percy continued adventuring with VM. At that time he has never acted as the ruler of Whitestone and after C1 Cassandra technically has more responsibilities and influence to the city than Percy does.

Writer here. This is definitely something we thought about. But in Hamilton, fast and technical raps are used not only to show brains, but power generally. Like Lafayette in "Guns and Ships", or Hercules Mulligan in "Yorktown", Grog's not showing that he's brilliant or eloquent, but that he's just an all-around badass.

Did Matt ever reveal what would have happened had they smashed the githyanki skull? Would it have just caused a war of the worlds type situation with Githyanki warships fighting the dragons while the mortals fought both

Jeffery Crouse I believe he did in the final Talks Machina. Like everything, there’s always a catch with the deal and I think he said that a possible outcome would be that the trapped Githyanki would essentially swap places with whoever releases it, high-jacking the body of it’s would-be saviour to do who knows what. I don’t think, however, it was ever explained why, out of the two that have been scarred by darkness, it wanted Percy to be the one specifically unless the Githyanki is of the opinion that Percy is darker than Grog. I think I like your idea of a War of the Worlds scenario though!
