We were one of the first flights to do integrated flights. We lived in seperate dorms, but when we formed up in the morning it was males and females. Don't let it stop you! I had someone in my flight in bmt, he couldn't do a pushup before he went to meps. His roomate at the hotel literally convinced him to try to do one and it was hard for him. He still graduated bmt in the end. I couldn't do a pull-up before I talked to my recruiter, but before I shipped off to BMT I was able to do 12 in a row because I worked on it. If weight is an issue, that can be hard and annoying to work with. I was actually underweight so I had to eat more before I joined. Never forget what the military can do for you. I have gotten to travel and see more in these past few months than I ever did in the 21 years I had before I joined. I had a shit GPA in highschool, and now I could get an education whenever I wanted. You can find your dream job in the military. If not the air force, then the army or somewhere man. Sorry wingman but your MEPS does stuff hella different than mine. Your recruiter should have a list of jobs available for the upcoming month/few weeks, and from that list you should be given a job. Unless you're job locked and you're just waiting for one specific job to be available, I'm unsure why you wouldn't have a date. I remember he told us to put our bags down and we all dropped them, then he screamed at us to place them on the ground, not drop them. And for some reason I heard drop them, so I dropped them. "Play with me if you want to! Drop your bag again I dare you!". That same night I couldn't meet the timeline on showers and he pointed at me and said "You are pissing me off!".
