Thank you so much, Sonja, for doing a flip cup, I was wondering if it could be done with the thicker paint, and yes I think you did nail it! I love the intense colors and the little tendrils. What I especially love with this new, thicker paint technique, new to me anyway, is the fact that you don't see the canvas fabric when the paint dries. Thanks again!

I learned flip cups first and spent alot of time watching karen and julie cutts from pouring your heart out. its beautiful. I would recommend not tipping out the paint from the cup at the end. Just leave a nice puddle and pull cup away, less strandy looking stuff.

Also for a flip cup if u choose to not use as much paint try using a smaller cup for the flip...the paint wont have to work as hard to get to the canvas that way. I was actually very surprised that your colors stretched to all ur edges...I'm a beginner so as u can imagine I go through a bit of paint myself...

I love the colors they are very pretty together. And I would say you did just enough paint so that you didn't waste a bunch. Good job

Ooooh! That painting came out really pretty. The colors you used are beautiful, but think the cup lip drag did the trick on the composition! Thank you for sharing. I’m not familiar with working with Golden paints, but is the interference blue the one that looks like pearl? Did you use Payne’s Gray? Does the lavender cell activator have something added to it for the cell activator? 🅰️💯‼️

Try multiplying length x width of canvas and dividing that number by 28 to get the number of OZ of paint you need to cover canvas. You probably already know that.

I absolutely love love this painting. It is very nice to see you use just enough paint to make it to the four corners, your ability to stretch your paint so well. It’s fantastic!!. Can you please tell me where you purchased your hinged square containers??, please
