I'm really liking your method. You get the open shelves and then negative space that I love. So many other people are using a blow dryer and you make it very simple and elegant I love it I'm going to try this way! Love these colors thank you so much!

i’m not happy that you missed up your edge, but in a way I am because I am is do that and it’s good to see you that one of my favorite artists is making a mistake too and this way I can see how to remedy the situation.

Just beautiful! I love the colors you used. If you don't mind me asking, what do you use for the cell activator? I'm very new at acrylic pouring and I've heard many different things. You get so many cells... I'm having a little bit of a problem with that.

In this one I use Australian Floetrol in a 3:1 ration with Amsterdam paints but have had success with US based products as well. I have a recipe in my tutorial video #028. Happy creating 😊

Hello Sonja ~ I've followed your tutorial and your videos explicitly and have made about 12 very pretty paintings, but they're so pretty that I hate to varnish them. Have you ever NOT varnished one of your creations? Thanks!

I generally will varnish them so they are protected from UVL, but I also like how it brings depth to a piece. If you are not a fan of the high gloss look, I would recommend applying a matte or satin varnish so that it provides protection with altering the paining as much.

I love your technique! So much more control than blowing. Your black CA, are you just substituting black paint for the titanium white? Which black paint do you use for it?

Thank you! Yup; I've used Oxide Black and Lamp Black, both by Amsterdam. For the Oxide Black, I like to add a little bit of Golden Carbon Black Fluid Acrylic just to darken it up a little more ( you only need a little).

May I ask, whether your house paint, that you use for your pillow/or pillow paint, is a water based paint or oikbased product? Thank you. VINNIE

Thanks! PM is 2:1 untinted house paint in an ultra deep base and JoSonja polyurethane varnish. Paints are Golden Fluid Acrylics. Cell activator is 3:1 Australian floetrol and Amsterdam Lamp Black. Happy creating😊
