As a heavy Deluxe Paint user back in the day, I'm actually impressed. This must have been done with such a small budget, and while the ripoff/cash grab aspect isn't flattering I can still admire the level of quality achieved within the constraints.

Well if they ripped of the original book which I happen to have sitting right here, (I actually mean that, it's been on my desk for months) they would for the most part be ripping off the same story as Disney's version. So someone would still argue. Also apparently according to the Crappy games Wiki, the company did put out one good game called Hoppie on the PS2, but it was seemed to have been only released in Italy.

Decided to do a 5 year Anniversary channel marathon so here is my HI to try and make the algorithm be nice. Thank you.

A year late, I got this video recommended so I had to try and dig into the saying on the gingerbread heart. Since almost all things shown here point to German, I went searching for proverbs with "Leberwurst" and found only "die beleidigte Leberwurst", or "the offended liver sausage" - used to mock someone who is offended over something trivial. Next, I decided to try sayings on ginger bread hearts (searching for "Sprichwörter Lebkuchenherz"), and found a weird website that basically sells any saying they can put on a heart. Closest I could find was "Alles hat ein Ende nur die Wurst hat zwei": everything has an end, but a sausage has two. Which makes no sense to put on a ginger bread heart, but at least it exists, and IT WOULD MAKE MORE SENSE TO END THE CARTOON ON.

The best worst Dingo Pictures movie is unquestionably Aladin (1993). The voiceover alone is oscar worthy - the cast can barely speak english, they do it in one take and leave all the flubs in, you can hear the pages being flipped as they read through the script, and there's an awful screaming in the background the entire time. I watch it every year for my birthday and it's amazing.

About the "liver sausage" sentence; I did a bit of research and I think I found its origin. It is beyond obscure though. Basically, the original "saying" is: "Der Magen einer Sau, die Gedanken einer Frau und der Inhalt einer Worscht bleiben ewig unerforscht." Which roughly translates to: "A sow's stomach, a woman's thoughts, and the contents of a sausage will forever remain a mystery." Source seems to be some obscure 1930s (children's?) song book. I've never actually heard this saying used in real life, though to be fair, it's got to be a very specific regional thing - judging from the weird dialect-ish spelling of "Wurst" as "Worscht".

The strange looking orange dinosaur is, I think, meant to be a juvenile Therizinosaur. They are group of fairly unusual herbivorous theropods that seem to have converged with giant ground sloths. The large scythe like claws are pretty distinctive. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Therizinosauridae The strange eyes are due to the sclerotic ring, small bones found in the eyes of some animals. That narration bird in those cartoons... it’s got to be the most lazy bird on the planet! Just his voice is so dry. Also the paint by numbers game only seems to give the player 16 colours to work with whereas the playstation hardware can pull off millions of colours with no sweat. Was it so hard for the developers to add a colourwheel and create knock-off version of photoshop?

If they did that on Dpaint 3 then hats off to them. Even though it looks a bit janky when they run, the closeups of the animals are drawn and animated quite well. The voices are just creepy though.
