I don't care what anybody has to say. Sly Cooper is an iconic series that deserves the praise it gets.

I think in hindsight this was the best way to end the series on. Sly's entire long line of family treasure was lost forever and Dr. M was destroyed by his desire to claim his ex partner's heritage. But in the end Sly got the better deal as he discovered the greatest Treasure he could ever steel was Carmelita's heart, and thus gave up his life as a Thief to be with her. As the last Sly Cooper game by Sucker Punch this was the best note to end the series on. While I was glad at the time to get Sly Cooper Thieves in time, in hindsight Thieves on time kind of sucks now. Not only can you not buy it on PS4 and are only able to rent it with a PS Now subscription, but the game ends with Sly stranded thousands of years in the past on a (To Be Continued......) you'd think Sanzaru games would take up the helm of being the future developers of the Sly Cooper series but nope they just had to get roped into making Shitty Sonic Boom games for the 3DS leaving the Sly series high and dry on a cliffhanger. The sad thing is I don't think there will ever be another Sly Cooper game again. I doubt Sucker Punch will ever want to return to this series, or Sanzaru which is a shame as without them I don't think there's anyone left who could make another Sly Cooper game, and if they do it'll most likely be a reboot instead of a continuation. So in hindsight Thieves in Time may as well have not even existed as it left Sly in a Cliffhanger that'll never be followed up, and in hindsight it would have been better if he was just left at the ending of Sly 3 with Carmelita.

I was so glad when sly finally got Carmelita haha I just bought a CRT tv and busted out my ps2 and bought component cables and am re living my childhood again haha these games 1-3 rocked

Sly 4 was good but Sly 3 is far better than it. it just doesn't feel the same.

I love how Sly just left a calling card, with his cane, and gave the whole gang the cooper fortune AND his cane. That there, is true companionship. Slys thank you for all the good years together, and retiring. To me, Sly 4 never happened. This is the true ending

My brother and I played this last 2009 but never finished it because the CD game broke. After 11 years, he downloaded it in his PC, we played it together but he played the last half. Now, just a few minutes ago, we finally finished it. ❤️

I love how Sly 4 continued on perfectly, and they didn't jump to some random heist and cut this moment out.

To think that ALL of this started with a "average at best" platformer for kids which was Sly 1 (It's a great game, I still love it to this day until I die.) Then over the course of 2 sequels, it built up a such a great world of character development, twists and turns and immersion. Just bravo Sucker Punch, bravo.

At first I was sad that Sly had lost his memory but that wink was a sigh of relief 😮‍💨 lol

Dude that end credit music made me choke up when it started playing, so many good childhood memories. This is the true ending for my Sly Cooper playthrough. Sly Cooper and his gang will always have a special place in my heart.

He didnt lose his memory if u ever played the game he says at the part when u see him being crushed by the monster again he says "i wish i can stop all this playing around and tell carmilita how i really feel about her". Well, this one was my favorite game ever. I had a PS2 and it was only game i played. I missied ti for so long just so soon see that there was all 3 games were on a disc for PS3! i got it and it brought back so many memories!!!!!!!! I love yo sly!!!

I think this was the best ending for the series. The game was overall fun and I greatly enjoyed it. All the Cooper Gang got happy endings.

I remember when I first played Sly. It was on a demo disk and it was the first mission of Sly 2 band of thieves.. Playstation 3 came out soon after so couldn't compete it. But lucky for me they brought out the trilogy on PS3 in HD quality!! Then completed them and got platinum trophy on each! And now they are bringing out a 4th!!! Man... I love Sly.. :D -3!

I don't care what you guys think, but this is the only true ending to the Sly series for me. It's bitter-sweet, nothing astronomical, but it definitely put a smile on my face back then. Also, Thieves in Time is NOT Sly 4, so maybe Sucker Punch one day can pull a Crash Bandicoot 4 move ditching the other games in favor of a true sequel or something.

Yeah Sly Cooper Thieves in Time also known as Sly 4. It's been out since 5th February 2013 in USA and comes out in Europe on the 28th March
