Today Larry and Mollie Davis attempt to take their third and final step towards television's richest prize $1,000,000. Will they succeed or will Phil and Jean Ann Gilbert stop them and start their own journey to the million?
I do not own any rights to this show, this is uploaded for entertainment and nostalgic purposes.

Gosh! I remember watching this show as a kid on WWOR in Northern NJ. I always thought for years the host was Ed McMahon. I was wrong. Wonder how much a million dollars in the late 80s would be worth today in 2022.

I'll tell you what. Forget about the other episodes I named, I've gotten some responses from some other users about those, but it would be nice sometime in the future to somehow, somewhere, be able to find Michael Tiller's copy of Donald/Kathi vs. Phillip/Barbara again. And remember, it's in shaky but watchable quality and does not contain commercials. Thank you.

Actually, if you're asking about the money a couple wins for each game they win, that's theirs no matter what else happens. So in that matter of speaking, yes the couple has the money they accumulated throughout their three days, plus the million, in season one, annuitized $40,000 a year for 25 years, and in season two, in cash and prizes, meaning they would have around 900 grand in cash, plus some prizes, which many people seemed to think wasn't as good a deal, but the prizes are pretty nice. In any case, yes, they still keep whatever they win during their three days.

I’d like to request something, and it’s not necessarily for Brian Schwartz, but more any user here who might possibly have a game show channel and accepts requests. I’m posting this here because it has to do with this episode. It’s a different recording of it that was on Michael Tiller’s return GST channel. Not his first one, but his return one. His copy had tracking faults and shaky picture but was still very watchable and commercial-free. Anyway, Michael’s return channel got terminated in early 2021, but he created a backup channel and returned again as GST Archives. He didn’t take requests so all I could do was wait patiently, but unfortunately we tragically lost him last January before he had the chance to re-upload his copy. Dave Heller, another game show fan KZfaqr, has informed me that one of his past traders traded with him for that episode and another while he was still with us, so I know it’s out there. If there are any KZfaqrs on this site who have it as I described or could be on the lookout for it, it would really mean a lot to me. It’s a rather long story why it’s still so important to me, even though it’s the same episode, just a different copy, but I’ll post another comment on this same video later on telling it. Peace out!✌️

Here is a re-upload wish list I have of this show. And it doesn't matter who does it, or if different people do different ones, just so I can see them again. 1. Bob/Judith vs. Bobby/Diane (Shaky but watchable quality and no commercials.) 2. Larry/Mollie vs. Phil/Jean-Ann (Same description.) 3. Donald/Kathi vs. Phillip/Barbara (Same description again.) 4. Lorraine & Larry vs. Pat & Bo (Decent quality, commercials) 5. Carol/Max vs. Lorraine/Larry (Same description) 6. Rick & Rita vs. Richard & Pat (Shaky but watchable quality, and let me just say this was available on CrashSunBurstBluRay KZfaq until it shut down in mid-2019. And I don't intend to put this burden on any one person, I'm just leaving this same comment on certain episodes on certain channels whose users hopefully don't mind and hopefully won't see it as a request, but the first three I named never got onto the GST Archives before Michael Tiller's tragic death, and numbers 4 and 5 were on some KZfaq channel whose user shut it down in October of 2019, and I just want to get this around to see who can try to do what, that's all. Thanks.

Just to let you know, numbers 4 and 5 have already been fulfilled by a KZfaqr named Sybil Kibble, and he/she says he/she thinks he/she has number 6. A game show KZfaq named Dave Heller says he knows a trader who traded with Mr. Tiller for numbers 1 and 2, so the only one in the list I made that I haven't gotten any responses about is number 3. (At least no responses either saying the user has it, or will keep his/her eyes open for it.)

@eve3363
@eve3363 3 жыл бұрын
No. The choices are the combined winnnings from rounds 1 and 2 if you chooose not to proceed to the 3rd round, the one million dollars if you win the 3rd round, or zero dollars if you lose the 3rd round.
@ThunderFist1978
@ThunderFist1978 Жыл бұрын
The first and second days, you got the option of retiring with a portion of the money, like $25,000 for the first day and $50,000 for the second day, though don’t quote me on that amount. If you turn that down and lose the main game or the bonus the round the next day, then all you get is the amount you won during the main game the previous day(s) you were on the show. If you won the million, then the main game winnings could be considered part of the prize. I’m just happy that even though Lorimar got bought out before all the winnings had been paid out, the winnings were still honored by the new owners.

Oh, the audience is there, they just have to be quiet because unlike Price Is Right, no one is allowed to help the contestants. Back then, $1,000,000 was an astronomical amount of money, and expecting them to win it on their own is completely reasonable.
