Generally I think Prizm is by far one of the worst values in the hobby, but hey you got one of the 1-in-100 boxes that got more than 5% value back, so congrats on that. :) Basketball taking the easy W here. Football Prizm in my opinion gets more surprises. Basketball will get you on a treasure hunt but when you hit you it big. I question the Golf cards? Not a big golf follower but i hear the hits are more and better. I don't know haven't tried to buy any.

That Sasser I estimate to be a $1,500 card! (Kobe Bufkin black gold sold for 1k, and I compared Sasser and Bufkin sales on the red seismic and Sasser sells for 1.5 times more)

I don't really see a difference between the two boxes now but we all know what they were producing on release day. Many got skunked on autos for basketball and football was hitting really nice. Its the players which make the boxes. You mention the top hitters as Stroud for football and Wemby for basketball. The black finite 1/1 has been pulled for each but Wemby's is alledged to go for 7 times more than the Stroud card. Is this a fair assessment and justified price? Depends what your smoking. Wemby is a freak of an athlete at his height and showing some remarkable skills as well. But has this translated into anything special? I think not. Stroud and Wemby were drafted by teams that were the season before were in dead last in their conferences. Stroud starts the season, leads his team to a division crown, wins their first playoff game and then finally loses in their second to the team with the best record. In his off season he wins the rookie of the year and while playing in the NBA all star celebrity game throws down, like 31 points in basketball. Meanwhile, Wemby keeps doing what he is doing, his team is still last in the western conference, wont even come close to winning a playoff game let alone make it. He will win the rookie of the year but think he can be an NFL quarterback? I don't know but with those long legs I see linebackers snapping him in half if he ever tried. Like i said its what youve been smoking to determine which product is best. But for me its easy to see....football should be the better of the two and this example of head to head is nothing more than a one off. Spoken by a guy who pulled a Prism CJ Stroud Gold Vinyl /5 from the comfort of his own home after putchasing the box from his LCS on release day and that card is valued way less than some card of equal availability from some freak they nickname the Alien. Who cant make his team any better like Stroud did. Ill wont even hold my breath for untill he brings home rings like Robinson and Duncan did for the Spurs years ago.

There is no reason for these boxes to be $1000 a piece. $400 at best. I’m sorry but breakers have jacked up the prices of boxes and the average collector stands no chance. Even if you hit a good card now the odds are 99 times out of 100 you don’t make your money back.

I've seen you rip probably $1 million dollars worth of packs/cases, and what i've learned from all that is Panini is a trash 🗑 product. Not worth the outrageous prices they charge for well below mediocre packs. I've never been a fan of baseball or baseball cards, but at least with Topps/Bowman I can get better value for my money.

The NBA Prizm cards had some amazing looking cards but obviously they werent worth anything, to bad because the Devon Booker and Lebron James cards looked nice.
