I am opening every year of Panini Prizm basketball hobby for our next collectible sports trading card pack unboxing/break! Prizm is the premier set for basketball cards and has been around for over a decade. In this video, I am starting with 2023 and opening every year's release all the way through the first ever year of Prizm (2012-13)! In total, these boxes cost over $25,000! Many of these boxes are products that I've never opened, so it's super cool to see these unwrapped! Some big cards that can be found are 1/1 Black Prizms, Gold Prizms, SSP parallels (Black Gold, Mojo, Orange), on-card autographs, special Kobe Anthology cards, rookie cards of top NBA stars (Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic, Nikola Jokic, Joel Embiid, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Zion Williamson, Ja Morant, Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving, Jimmy Butler, Jayson Tatum, Paolo Banchero, Chet Holmgren, Cade Cunningham, Anthony Edwards, Kawhi Leonard), and more! This was one of the craziest openings we've ever done!

What is your favorite pack ever that you ripped? My personal favorite is mlb 2023 chrome I’ve only opened it once but I would love to open it again. Hope you see this have always been a big fan and whenever I’m trying to see what pack I can find at my local card shop if it is good. I’m just turned 11, 8 days ago. I'd love to see every year of Court Kings. The best set for Art work hands down... I was undergoing cancer treatment during the 20-21 rip. Watching you rip packs was one of the things that helped get me through that rough time. Seeing you rip that set brought back memories.

I propose we need to start adding an actual value to cards. Base sets need a value, and then we use multipliers to come up with cards worth. Like base prizm is $1. Spectra $1.25 and optic #1.50. If a base worth is establish and generally followed. Multipliers for inserts then NMS numbers/memorabilia, signatures. A standard that way we can have true wealth in cards. Like gold be real investments recognized by banks and everything. Put you wemby cards up for collateral haha.

Just to give you an idea of how little people cared about this stuff when it first came out. I worked at a card shop at this time and we would cut the lid off (it's basically a jumbo Kobe card) and sell it for $10 with 5 "free" packs. I saw at least two Kobe autos pulled at the time. Talk about needing a time machine.

Hey Mr. Packman, my question might sound a little naive, but what makes a card a "special" card? I really don't see any difference from one card to the next, so if you don't mind and enlighten me, please! Are there not a lot of double cards from pack to pack?
