I am also an old man and a safe full of silver and gold no matter the price is always better than an empty safe. If you consistently save precious metals over the years no matter the price you will always come out ahead. Unlike crypto, it’s a savings account and not a get rich scheme. Metals always beat fiat, you just have to become one of us old men to realize your gain and by that time you just leave it to the kids.

I bought Gold Corp at $32.00 it went to $60.00; I got my initial investment back and watched the remaining shares crash. The last I looked it was around $10.00 then it disintegrated. It was once like Barreck or Newmont, buying up acquisition after acquisition works until it doesn't.

David, big difference & good job! Ian brought a different perspective than the typical bullish gold expert. For example, Ian is the 1st I heard say do your exploration & development on Bay St. Good challenging questions David. I haven't enjoy a Kitco interview like this in a while:)

Bitcoiners, like Michael Saylor say gold going to $0, Bitcoin going to $1 million. Central banksters also want to divert all PM attention going bitcoin, away from gold. Higher prices in gold usually indicated inflation. So massive push to make people disinterested in gold, thus hide inflation. Government and big bank money using paper contracts to keep pushing down gold and spot prices.

There are few to none gold deposits left so a company is better off paying a premium for an existing known company/deposit than spending 100s of millions to probably come up empty

Just a word of warning, gold went from $875 in 1979 to $250 in 1999. A bear market of 20 years during which it fell to a quarter of it's value. As someone who works in mining you've always got to have one eye looking over your shoulder. The money's good when you have it but always be saving.👍

He may be right, but I think a major liquidity event could drive gold below $1200. The paper market is so much bigger, and can act irrationally. However, the physical market will likely never see $1200 again.

There's a 14 million km² continent that's never been mined for it's mineral wealth. It's called Antarctica. There's also the ocean floor, which is 70% of the Earth's surface area. It's also estimated that the mantle and core of the Earth contain enough gold, silver, platinum, palladium etc. to cover the surface of the Earth with a 10m layer of the stuff. Obviously all these sources are unavailable with today's technology and politics but it still exists on the planet.

OMG ! We have so much gold and silver here in Nevada. The Canadians are all in here now. Today Gold is 1871 and moving up. There is more gold and silver to be had here in Nevada. It just has to get up to the profitability price to continue mining. When Brandon and the Fed bankrupts the country, we will have our metals.
