IMO, Pontos is a great detail kit....ASSuming the Modeler knows where everything goes on a particular ship build before hand. If not; you could spend days/weeks trying to sort through the manual and still may not know where things go.

i ended up getting the full MK1 detail up set and its really no better for most of the ship, only thing it does lay out is the radar assemblies and the like. Best of luck with your build, i'm waiting til your done to use this as a form of reference :)

im currently building the 1/200 iowa with the pontos detail up kit.... TOOOOOOOO MUCH WORK

Where can I find this kit? I'm dying to replace my 1/750 scale Wisconsin with one far more detailed, but all of the 1/200 Missouri kits I'm finding don't have the Wisconsin decals or anywhere near as many detail kits.

Hi - not initially modelling related - but I really like the intro music (by 'The Midwest'?). I have had a good look on YT and can't seem to find it. Do you know where it's available to listen to or what the name of the track is? I'd really appreciate it. Really enjoy watching all the effort you're putting into this kit, btw. Impressive.

I really like your videos. What I think would really help you out is if you start including all the links to everything that you use to build your kits. And because they will be affiliate links, you also make extra money on the side.

Just curious, are you going to put a table where the infamous signing took place, since your on that deck?

Can you stain the deck before gluing it down?

Poor instructions are nothing new. I remember building kits as a teenager(40 years ago) with the same problems. I really thought that the "specialized" companies, making detail kits which are, by design, more complex and intricate, would have ironed-out all that nonsense - obviously not.
