The area around each individual rivet head is so small....and I mean SMALL. Then your 1 or 2 coats of putty, then sanding . That's alot of moving pieces in such a tiny space. The results showed in each attempt...sloppy. I really don't recommend it if your goal is zero visible gap line.

@@FlorentinoRebuildingCo.5644 I went a little different with it. Since mine is gonna be based on a toy of a cartoon character I sanded down all the rivets except in a few areas around stuff like this side compartment doors

@@wheatonsspeedshop1412 Great to hear. A little character to each of these AMT Freightliner's can only bring more young modelers into the hobby and bring the rest of us, many more new release models for years to come. Please post a video series so the rest of us could follow your work.

Not a bad way to go....on my later videos. as I completed the seam fix, I started to realize that fixing it or NOT fixing are both OK. Thanks for your comments.
