I wish someone would bring back the winchester 88 lever action

i dont personally have any lever guns but ive always admired them and grew up watching tons of westerns.maybe some day ill have one

Thanks Michael. For the last 15+ years I have scoured SHOT to see what new lever guns have come out. This year was a blessing. That new Henry Supreme I will purchase for sure when it comes out in 308. It might be the perfect lever gun or better yet, the perfect 308 do it all rifle. Dare I say general purpose or Scout rifle?!?

How can you say the SW lever gun is great engineering. It's just a cross of Marlin and the Henry. Just reverse engineering. Don't get me wrong i like it but it cost to much.

Unfortunately, "Winchester" didn't make the new Ranger 22. It was some company in Turkey. I have nothing against the Turkish people but Winchester is an American brand. Their guns should come from the U.S.. And before anyone asks, I feel the same about Miroku "Winchesters." I dated a Japanese woman in my college days and believe Japanese culture has much to offer. It's never been a racial issue.
