Watching you build Hood has finally given me the confidence i needed to start on my own Flyhawk Hood in 1/700. I like your approach, dividing the build in many small, self contained steps has made a very daunting task a far more approachable one. Keep up the great work man!

You're really putting in the hours. That's why this build will be a lot better than than most. I'm sure it will be worth it. I think I'll use your technique for masking the decks. I've only built the Bismark in 1/350 and the problem of painting the decks first or the sides is always a dilemma. When I'm doing smaller scale I mask the sides like you do but brush paint the decks.

Sometimes I think I should use a brush more often. I have a suspicion that I make a lot of extra work for myself by using the airbrush as often as I do and that get very little, if any, benefit for it.

@@DavidsShips No you're doing it the right way. I brush it and I'm usually disappointed and airbrush the middle to make it look a bit more even.
