Take a close look because this is not a Rolex Day-Date you will be seeing out in the wild. This is a Factory set 40mm yellow gold Day-Date with Ruby bezel and Dial! Yes it is very flashy... But for me it has to be my all time favorite. Maybe its because of my hispanic background or Miami upbringing but I just love the look of it. In this video I will discuss the many questions that all of us may have when it has to do with a piece that is this rare and heavy hitting!

This is by far not just my favorite exotic Day-Date, it’s my favorite Day-Date. The way those rubies pop off that yellow gold is nothing short of spectacular.

It somehow manages to not be gaudy. Day dates are amazing. The red of the ruby looks gorgeous as a baguette indicator against the gold and the gold pave dial. Looks unreal and I’m not a gems-on-watch lover, but I adore this.

I mean, it’s a sick watch mate. It’s definitely an attention caller. I’m more of a low profile and conservative pieces, but if I was a collector, that would be the kind of watches I’d love to have. You have to know where to wear it and have the cojones to do it hahaha. But I agree with you, it’s absolutely stunning

Watch Eric always coming with the class… I think yellow gold for a daydate is always the one (with or without gem stones). I have a rose 1803 which pops but I still don’t think you can beat the yellow gold at the end of the day!

Compared to price of steel Nautilus, this Daydate is a steal @ 250k. Still too expensive for me but for someone who have budget to buy only one heavy hitter with his money, this one looks nice.

I love the emerald version in white gold. However, I have a family member who got this watch. He wore a white gold Daytona on leather strap for decades. But he upgraded to this like a year ago.

Nice watch…I found getting art in tattoos on a arm sleeve helps the urge on these pieces. Add lots of personalized touch and a story through art and stick with stainless steel Rolex. Dope! See you in December

This probably won’t make sense to you but… I love looking at it but struggle with the occasions at which I’d choose to wear it. You’re right about the rainbow btw… my AD told me she was getting 2 and one would be for me… only to get shutdown by Rolex. To be fair the only reason I was buying it was to hold it 2-3 years snd then sell or trade it as it (like the DD you just reviewed) was too blinged out for me. Another great video… nice job.

I agree bro, it is the baddest flashiest modern Rolex to date. I can def see those rubies hit harder then a rainbow from across the street, and it is more rare then any other model, that’s a fact from what I was told by a few. Any dinner party you go to, I don’t care who’s sleeve pushes up with a AP, PP, RM, guaranteed you will always be the heaviest hitter for the night no matter the price of the competitors, Jeff.

One of my favorite Day Dates that I deeply regret not buying is the 36mm Lapis Lazuli dial in White Gold. The lapis and the White Gold are amazing together. Very hard to find now. A White Gold Pave dial with blue Sapphires in Roman numerals? That would be fire.
