Hey! Is French a hard language to learn?
@marriedaprince1
@marriedaprince1 2 жыл бұрын
@@dreamingon6165 depends I guess...English is my native language, and french is very similar to English although french is romantic and English is Germanic...so perhaps it is easier for a native English speaker to learn French than say a native Japanese speaker ..idk. I learned the majority of my French before I was 20, so I don't remember the "pain" of learning basics and have quite a solid foundation than say someone who starts at 30. I say if you want to learn go for it!

I’m a native english speaker who loves language learning! I’ve been learning Japanese for 3 years and the journey has been amazing so far, it makes me think about my native language differently! I was curious as to what an English listening video is like after listening to Japanese every day! Just wanted to mirror another comment on how good some of these English comments are! Keep going guys and never give up! Also this is a VERY natural conversation that you’re likely to hear among actual Americans. Some of the channels here on YT sound really unnatural and robotic but this is absolutely great for English learners! Good luck to everybody with their language learning!

How did you start learning Japanese?
@Buddha075
@Buddha075 Жыл бұрын
@@ruiru_i At first I used an app called Pimsleur! I highly recommend this for anybody learning a language. It forces you to speak, and actively listen. They have natives pronounce things part by part and ask you to repeat it. All of the vocab and grammar that’s explained builds upon each lesson too so they really ingrain it into your brain. I will say for Japanese it’s very formal and business oriented but it really teaches you pronunciation, basic grammar, and how to listen to how Japanese people talk. You do have to pay for it as well but totally worth it imo. It won’t make you fluent either but it gives you enough basic knowledge to get you started with the language for sure! After that I started listening to JapanesePod101 lessons here on KZfaq. The teacher Risa does an excellent job of teaching vocab words and they’re always used in sentences so you can see how to properly use it, same with grammar points. If she said a sentence that I was interested in I would repeat it over and over, try and use different vocab to suit what I wanted to say etc. After that I basically binged Miku Real Japanese and Japanese with Misa here on YT. Some of the clearest explanations of Japanese grammar come from these channels imo. Also I currently watch MoshiMoshi Yusuke constantly. Super interesting content and he actually makes videos of real life Japan. He films himself doing various things in Japan, he’s the king of Japanese content. Also has a ton of conversation videos that use real life natural Japanese. If it’s a topic I’m interested in I pause the video and break down each sentence to see how the grammar works and stuff. Again I’ll try and use my own vocab/grammar with the sentences to fit what I would actually want to say in real life. I’m very interested in Japanese history, philosophy, etc so I tend to really love that kind of content. I also binge Yuyu 日本語podcast here on YT as well. All of these guys have subs too so you can learn Kanji and practice reading too. Moshimoshi even has english subs so you can see how the grammar relates to the english meaning, although I recommend just reading the Japanese if you’re watching the videos. Its better to only read the English when you pause the video and try break down and understand the convo and grammar that’s being used. During all of this too I made and still make Japanese friends online (Hellotalk) and actively try to use all of the things I learn with real natives. I also take italki lessons once a week to get corrected and learn new things, have a face to face convo etc. Sorry this is so long but there’s so much confusion and opinions on how to go about it so it can be hard to know where to start! After about two and a half years now I’m at about N3 level for speaking and listening!! It takes a lot of active hard work and motivation but you can do it! Good luck

For me an adult is a person who can not only be responsible for himself, but for the people around ( parents, kids). You do not that you want, but what you have to do. You see your bad sides and try to change them to the best, you don't try to change other people, but only yourself.
