Hello friends today in this video i have shown what will happen if I connect 3 400KV module in series.
High Voltage are very dangerous, so please don't try this at home.

you did something wrong, the modules have polarity on the output, if you connect them wrong in series the arc will be not longer like you saw. 1 Module can reach 22mm with one 18650 Lithium, so 3 should arc much much longer like 50- 66mm . To fix your build try first to connect 2 in series and test if the arc is longer, if not swith the output cables and test again. After this you can do the same method by adding one module more .

Agreed, I also found this out whilst I tried 2 in series. I want to make a giant arc generator for my ebike on the handlebars. So its like the Alternate timeline starship enterprise on Star Trek Enterprise!!!!

They have a flat side so therefore if the modules are the same, internally, then he _did_ have the outputs in series.

Each module is rated for a 3-7v input, if you wire 3 together and use one battery you are dividing tgat over each unit.. so try taking a battery to each module with one main switch and wire all the outputs the same way then you will have a violent arc.. but will likely blow something up in the units and could stop a heart if touched..

@@tomorrowland9 not unless you get shocked in heart. ie if you hold it with two hands in each cable than its very dangerous. if you do two ends in skin it wont stop heart but give very bad burns

He's got the battery supply in parallel which means that they all receive the full battery voltage, assuming the battery can provide sufficient current.

Sorry to say this, but you are essentially attempting to draw more current than a single 1.5V battery will allow for all 3 to function... You are most likely getting 1 to function and it is just routing it's output through the other 2 in series in a passive manner.

Excellent project! what module is this high voltage? Seems there is switching transistor and other components inside this module. That is why it is producing continuous arcing.

@@TechIdeasAG Hello, is the input voltage of your game also 7.4v? I see that yours is connected in series. If a high-voltage generator is 2000kv and two series connected can reach 8000kv, then the battery must also be connected in series to 14.8V. I use two 200kV high-voltage generators connected in parallel, but my battery It is still 7.4v, whether it is connected in parallel or in series, can the battery achieve 14.8v without burning the high voltage generator?

And if you connect 3 of 400 kv modules you get 1 200 000 V that breaks down on arround one Yard, not on 50 mm.

Great vid! What happens if you continue pressing the on button until the battery runs out? I ask because mine stops creating arc after about 2 seconds, then I have to wait. Is my module broken? Do I need capacitors?

Output of those devices is a voltage-multiplied DC. So it has polarity. When you connect those in series you have to connect + of one to - of the next. I don't believe you have done this and as a result the output of the three of them is not too different of the output of one as two of the three cancelling each other out.

Yes I think they need to be separated but along side each other as I don't think the voltage would increase this way so I was going to run them separately but next to each other

Hey man love your vids..have you tried increasing input voltage i found it was brighter further and alot louder much more so than adding more pulse generators. Ive been using rc batteries and the 7.4v defo produced better result than 3.7v (also seems to last forever, havnt charged the 7.4 at all yet n been playing with it alot) i have 3 versions 1 with aa battery n 1 each of the rc Edit Im using the "1000kv" version(doubt its even close to that really lol)

Ok if you connect 3 of this boost convertors in series that voltage just blow on the seccondary windings, and i dont thing those thingies can output 400kv .

Seems like stun guns burn out after few fires if air fire,whys that?Is the spark gap case the spark to short out to fast as pulse and to much energy so the inner component burns out?

The capacitor inside gets to high charge and arcs out internally also if you use 60% of its input voltage it will last a lot longer. Always make sure it can discharge!

Voltage stays the same and current gets multiplied, I made one with 15 units in parallel, the spark was so hot it was starting to melt the tips of the electrodes. It's also getting into lethal amounts of energy, if you were shocked across both hands by it you would probably die. It also died after using it for less than a minute🤣. Safe to say those units don't like that configuration. You might get away with connecting a few together but I don't suggest making a bank of them like I did lol.

naturally i built a stun gun upon discovering these... naturally the guys at work were uninterested in being test subjects... naturally they asked me to do it... naturally I agreed... naturally they suggested I do it again, this time while recording video... naturally I agreed. Ill tell ya what, it went right through my damn sweater and left two little raised red spots. Naturally I went home and bought many more much more powerful ones. Naturally I will build another, more powerful one... naturally, there is no fucking way ill be testing it on myself again!
