This additive should help to:
- Repair valve stem seal leaks
- Stop blue exhaust smoke
- Reduce oil consumption
The actions shown in this video are (should be) in basic the same for all cars with the 1.6 Prince engine (1.6 THP/Puretech/N13/N14/N18).
For example:
Citroën DS3, DS3R, DS3 racing, C3, C4, C5, DS5. Engine codes: EP6DT, EP6DTS, EP6CDT, EP6CDTM, EP6CDTX, EP6FDT, EP6FDTX.
Peugeot 207 RC, 207 GT, 207 GTi, 207 Le Mans, 208 XY, 208 GTi, 208 GTi BPS, 308 GT, 308 GTi, 3008 GT, 5008 GT, RCZ. Engine codes: EP6DT, EP6DTS, EP6CDT, EP6CDTM, EP6CDTX, EP6FDT, EP6FDTX, EP6FDTR, EP6CDTR.
Mini R55, R56, R57, R58, R59 - Cooper / Clubman / Countryman / Coupe / Cabriolet - S & JCW models. Engine codes: N14B16A, N14B16C, N18B16A, N18B16C.
BMW 1-series (F20) 114i, 116i, 118i, 120i, 3 series (F30) 316i, 320i ED. The BMW N13 engine divers most from the other Prince 1.6 engines.
RÉPARATION DE LA CONSOMMATION D'HUILE DE JOINT DE VANNE RISLONE
Cet additif devrait aider à :

Bought also this product. Ik will add this after the oil change. Hope this reduce the blue smoke after long idling. For the rest my car is smoke-free. Also bought the engine treatment. Extra clean up ca t do any harm.

This products works. I've testet a comparable product from Liquid Moly in a TU3FJ2 (AX Gti). BUT belive me - you better begin to save up money, because at some point you cant get away from a valve seal change.

Hello, I have the na version on the mini(n16),it consume around 0,3liter/1000 km and it smoke giving rev after a few minutes of idle, I have a video on the channel. Do you think this product can help me reducing oil consumption? Thanks

Hi, sorry for the late reply. I had the same, blue smoke after long time idle. Used this product and it is gone now.

The seals go hard due to heat. The product softens the seals which allow them to close up the gap again - that's a basic explanation

Risoline Valve Seal additive used to solve light oil consumption. Indication was light blue smoke from the exhaust and falling oil level. After the additive was added to the engine oil, the engine idled for 15 minutes to allow the additive to mix well with the engine oil. Then made a ride and immediately the light blue smoke from the exhaust was as good as gone. After 400 km there was no more light blue smoke to be seen. Engine oil level still needs to be closely monitored. That can only be seen after 1000 to 2000 km. For the time being, this high-quality product has prevented an expensive repair! #THP Tuning . Hi, How the situation with smoke and oil level looks like nowadays? I have 3008 thp and problem with oil disappear. For about 1500 km I will change oil and filters and meybe I will use it . What is your opinion? Thanks a lot for yours videos great job ! greetings from poland

@@konradhaber1211 Oil level has never been a real big issue on this car, as it is never used for (very) short distances. I estimate it currently at 1L engine oil each 10.000 km (perhaps even better). Smoke issue is gone. Have driven over 2500 km after this video was shot.

I have a Peugeot 508 thp 1.6, oil consumption is 1l /1000km, white - blue smoke comes out, do you think it can help?

It is of course worth trying. I had a bit of smoke a while back and it's all gone now.Though I must state that my oil consumption is much better (1l / 10.000km), compared to yours. With 1l / 1000km it could be the valve seals. I would recommend to let this checked by a specialist.
