1/700 USS Enterprise CV-6 Scale Model Ship / Island

I'm building the scale model of the USS Enterprise CV-6 Yorktown class aircraft carrier from WWII.
1/700 ship models is my favourite scale model category, but it's also one of the most challenging.

Oh MAN!!! Seeing this build makes me want to build this Ship as well!! I Just WISH that I could 3D-print at home! As a USN Veteran of 20+ years, ENTERPRISE is the Most Iconic Ship of the USN whether in the 40s, the 60s, or the 2020s!!! Go 'Big E'!!!

07:22 I like the technic that you use copper wires to mimic the cable conduit on the vertical surfaces of the superstructure. Can't wait to see pictures of the island after painting or priming.

Thanks!! Glad you liked it! But the next video will be on the hangar and hull, i usually like to paint everything in one go :)

This already looks insanely good and it's not even painted and weathered. I really hope you'll get more subscribers in the future because you deserve them.

Thanks!! I really like this hobby ill probably keep making videos even no subscribers haha And yeah it should look even better after weathering, but i prefer to do the painting in one go XD

Haha thanks glad you like those blogs, i have a feeling this ship will be a even better model, i'm currently figuring out how to outfit the model with LEDs, if successful it should look super cool with landing lights on deck and lights in hangars :)))
