Austen thanks again for this content, I find myself revisiting this often to adjust my pronunciation. Kindly allow me to ask you some questions question. I find this so content so fundamental to pronouncing Vietnamese well yet I can not find materials like this often? Where did you find this material? Is it taken from a text book? If so which one? Also the oóc sound can't be typed on a telex keyboard right? If I try to type it like (o x2 + c + s) = ốc (o x3 + c + s) = oocs Thanks again!

Hi Austen Thanks. Don't we also have the êc sound, like in the word làm việc?

The “iêc” and “iêt” endings follow the rule that they can only take nặng and sắc tones. The combination of “iê” can be followed by “c” but “ê” as a single vowel can’t be followed by “c”.
