Can I pull a nice grade on this Luke Skywalker #1 in the set? Hoping to pull a PSA 7 grade.

Was really hoping for the 7. Hoping for the 8 was a little high I will admit but I think the corners were just touched enough to make it earn the 6 though. High end 6 for sure. Cool card. I have a handful of star wars and they are all poor centering and age and humidity is brutal on those old paper surfaces. I would say the surface detracts from eye appeal on Luke.

These are tough cards to find in good grades for sure!! Cards like this 6 are beautiful! Thanks for the view and comment. They mean a lot.

Thanks so much for the comment and view! Man I was just really hoping for that darn 7. I think the corners had just enough of a touch on them to pull it down to the 6. She is a beautiful 6 though!!

I started grading with sgc for this reason exactly. I’m just over psa for a while I know the resale value blah blah blah but the inconsistency is so infuriating

I may consider SGC at some point but I am not there yet. With my sports cards PSA is doing a great job I feel. I also did good with my 1 Pokemon card submission. I have been hit and miss with these Star Wars subs for some reason. Thanks so much for the view and comment. I really means a lot to me.

Don’t know why everyone puts up with their crap, what’s the problem with actually doing a write up of why a card gets a grade? Well, because they’re not consistent and they know it

I have actually been very happy with most of my subs. My normal sports cards subs I have a very high accuracy % going but these Star Wars subs I struggle a little with for some reason. Thanks so much for the view and comment....I really appreciate it.
