Lesson 1 : Let's understand how to choose the design.
Please check the latter half video to watch recommended designs.
Decide the design, prepare the material. Please prepare plenty yarn not to cause the shortage.
The design links are described the bottom of this box.
Let's crochet the Wayuu together from Lesson 2.
Next lesson will start in a or 2 weeks.
Ms.Manon says, about Rover bag, she used Catania 100% cotton 50g 136yds, she used 2 balls of black, and 1 ball each of the other 5 colors, so I guess we need 2 or 3 balls each in other designs.
If you use other yarn, please calculate from Catania size, it is 50g and 136yds, so we need 100~150g and 270~400yds each colors.
I will explain about material in next lesson.

Most my videos are both English and Japanese bilingual, and some people say it's too complicated to catch up only 1 language, and I totally agree with them, but now my most subscribers are Japanese, so I can't skip Japanese... Hi, actually I borrowed these designs from CraftsbyManon linked below. www.craftsbymanon.com/ Please ask her what tool she uses. I think she uses a parlor beads design tool. Also, there is Apps called "Beads Creator", "Loomerly", etc., please check it out. Some like "BeadTool 4" are for professional and not free, but have more functions. Best regards,

Or, if you are not confident to finish the project, please skip the base pattern, and just crochet simple plain circle or striped circle base covering a few strands together, and then please try the side pattern. I recommend 3 colors projects to keep the shape beautiful, if you try more than 4 colors, it's very complicated and hard to shape. Or, please try triangle pattern as well. www.yarnspirations.com/on/demandware.static/-/Sites-master-catalog-spinrite/default/dw4ad995c1/PDF/SCC0103-007485M.pdf I think this is a very good design to start learning. This is not back loop sc, but if you try back loop sc, the shape will be more tight and beautiful. Cheer❤

I tried my iphone, and if you have google drive, it can be downloadable using the link address in my description box just below of the video. Actually, they are not my designs, I introduced Ms. Mannon's designs, and the links are all from Ms. Mannon's site.

Is hook 3 mm recomended?

I recommend hook 1.5mm or 2.0mm, but it’s according to the yarn sizes, however please try smaller size than the recommended size of the yarn.

You can make "Rover" with 2 colors, please separate with black and the others, or I suggest you to find other free patterns with 2 colors at google search, there are tons of designs available.

54 is multiples of 2, 3, 6, 9 and so on. We start the circle with multiples of 8. 54 cannot be divided into 8. To adjust those numbers, we need 216. It is the minimum number of 54 and 8. In this reason, we need to set up the pattern like this. Hoping you understand this and enjoy this crochet bag.☺️
