Resistance completely obstructs the flow of charges whereas inductance partially allows the flow of charges in different direction... You can see the difference in the phasor diagram

In inductance and capacitance phasar diagrams V means potential difference or voltage. lightly confused you pronounced V as a potential difference and written as voltage

For your information. Thats the resistance symbol. What u said speed breakers. Thats the wrong . Please check the resistance symbol ( resistance symbol have 3 high peaks ,3 low peaks only. Not 4...5 peaks )
