Whether you've thrown punches before or not, this amazing fat burning boxing workout is for you! Coach Chris breaks down the basic punches using a Heavy Bag and some inexpensive bag gloves. Along with some trademark body weight exercises, this beginner level workout will get results fast and it's SUPER fun to do!
In this video you will:
✔Learn how to throw a Jab, Cross, and Hook
✔Learn how to properly do a Push Up
✔Learn how to properly do a Pull Up
✔Learn how to properly Jump Rope
The Heavy Bag Workout looks like this:
✔1-minute of boxing combinations
✔10 Push Ups
✔5 Pull Ups
✔1-minute of jumping rope
*REST for 60 secs and repeat for as many rounds as you can!!*

I've worked out on traditional heavy bags kzfaq.infoUgkxp9-sf95nqfjey-uyzxUzQ7m9MXRPK1BE a spherical stuffed "wrecking ball" bag, and now this thing. What I like about it is that it has the heft to stay largely in place so I'm not chasing it around. It's tall enough to allow for headshots and body shots, but it's short enough to give an uppercut somewhere to land. I'm very happy so far. Filling it was a bit of a cluster. For top-offs, I've learned that you can screw the supplied nozzle onto any basic plastic water bottle. I can't speak to durability as I've only had it a week.

This is good stuff. I’ve been doing the following for about 6 months 3x weekly sometimes 2x. Plus some cycling 3 x. 2 mins punching bag 10 press ups 10 squats with weights 10 curls 10 dead lifts 60 secs of situps Plank for 35 secs Do that 5 times and it only takes about 32mins and gets you stronger and burns fat. You can add things to it as you go.

What excersize can you use in place of the pullups? Have no room at home for a pullup baf.

An inverted row is a good option. Hang underneath a bar with feet on floor and pull chest to bar. This set up can be achieved a few ways with home equipment.

@@floydherrera8898 You can find bag gloves at just about any sporting goods store... Everlast is least expensive and still good quality. Heavy bags can be the water or sand filled variety. Ours is from Valor Fitness. Visit them on line.

What do I do ? I am too heavy for my height. 110 kg I held my boxing stance and tried to hop continuously like an infant girl for one hour, then my right knee fucked up. Swelled badly, couldn’t curl, took 1 week to get back to normal using tons of sprays

Unfortunately my carpal tunnel on both wrists won’t allow me to do a proper push up and pull up, also do to my obesity.. but once I lose like 30 pounds then I’ll do them, hopefully my carpal tunnel will be healed.. in the meantime I can do punching bag and jump rope 👍🏽

I had really bad carpal tunnel. My doctor told me to sleep with the wrist braces on, and never wear then while I was awake. In 6 weeks my carpal tunnel was gone. Anytime I start to feel it, I sleep with the wrist braces and it goes away.

Drink water cut soda and juice and walk for 1 hr all you need you’ll loose and cut weight fast and eat smaller portions little by little

Keep an eye on the calories you consume. You always want to have a calorie deficit. However, you are a teen and should focus more on eating healthier and exercising. Just make better choices when it comes to food and select foods that will fill you up. Eat foods rich in proteins and fibers and most importantly, watch out for sweets. My advice to you is cut junk food out of your life and if you’re going to eat do it in moderation. Also you got youth on your side, so the odds are in your favor to see quicker results. Good luck on your journey.

Well this is not a ab specific video. This is more for general fat burning that’s from head to toe. More of a conditioning workout that utilizes a lot of muscle and gets the heart pumping. We have a ton of ab specific video content our channel… just search ABS CRITICALBENCH

For a real heavy bag, definitely. But these free-standing bags are not as rigid, and your not punching as hard. Wraps might get in the way of gripping the monkey bars.

You burn allow more calories if you know how to throw kicks and can use knee and elbow strikes. Train some muay thai.

“Minimal equipment” you won’t be able to hog all those machines in the gym so you’ll need about $1500 in a home gym setup
