as a french person it’s always crazy to me how languages like english or korean have the same form of infinitive for every verb whilst i had to learn 4 groups of verbs with different conjugation depending on the group at 6 yo 😭

I told myself that I would stop studying Korean in order to reach a high intermediate level in Chinese first. But there is this elderly Korean man that works at the store in my neighborhood and every time I go in there for a cup of coffee, he's ready to hear me say something in Korean. Lol 🤣 He speaks to me in Korean and says, "Korean is hard". . 😂 Now, I have something to prove! I bet he's a Father.

This is amazing! I love how long it is, I'll be able to listen to this while doing other things. I also love that you guys never use robot voices for pronunciation, it's so much better than some other channels. I just have a request though, if you make another video like this would it be possible to show the hangeul a bit later? I used this video to test my vocabulary like flashcards :).I tried not looking but sometimes I needed to check the spelling like for "eye" and "I" and such words. Otherwise this is so great, the pace is good and I'm feeling really good about all the words I already know ❤‍🔥

Is it me? But every time ㄴ is pronounced, it sounds to me like D. At least, the sound is closer to D, then to N as I would expect. Is there anybody else who does share the same experience. Just curious.

That’s how native speakers pronounce the letter.. it’s not actually N, the English language doesn’t have the exact equivalent of the letter’s real sound. I watched a video somewhere how to pronounce the letter correctly but a great thing about Hangeul is the letter shows how you should “form” your tongue inside your mouth. So “ㄴ” would be like relaxing your tongue on the base your mouth, so when you add a vocal, your tongue will softly touch the back of your upper front teeth..
