@mulhollanddrive3313 I understand where you're coming from, and your empathy is commendable. You must, however, understand that most of these fighters live and breathe this sport, and it was a long, hard fight to bring legitimacy to it. The fighters are painfully aware of the dangers involved in combat sports, and they accept it. The legitimate promotions do everything possible to safeguard fighter welfare, but of course, there will always be risk involved no matter how many precautions are taken. All we ask is that our sport be given the respect it deserves and the recognition that it is a legitimate sport. A sport we love and are very proud to be a part of. I apologize for insulting you it was wrong, but I am passionate about MMA, and it hits a nerve when people talk down about it. I hope that if you learn more about it and look into it a bit more, you might come to appreciate it for the great sport it is.
