I remember when Ultimate Fighting first started and back then you could eye gouge, headbutt, kick or punch the groin etc... It was more fun to watch, but i am glad they put rules in place.

There are no rules in King of the Streets. You even get incentive pay for biting and eating parts of your opponent. The ref is just there to prevent death.

YEah now days you have kids who bring their daddy's gun to school and solve a stupid kid problem with a permanent solution smh or they shit there and tattle on one another... MY best friend of almost 30 years was made from a grade school " meet me by the stands" fight we fought i won the first time and we fought a week later and he won. we agreed on leaving it at a draw, hugged it out, and to this day he's the kind of friend where I could call him any given time and he'd be on the first flight and vice versa

I’m 62. Guys are so much better fighters than we were. MMA has turned your average Joe into a worthy competitor. Workouts, skills, nutrition, all way better than we had it. When I was young most guys had no defense against kicks.

When i was a young man people were always bringing guys over to fight me. I was fortunate in that i loved boxing from a young age and had some natural hand speed and fighting ability. Bets would be made and i always easily took care of business. I kind of got the big head thinking nobody could beat me... then one day someone brought over this little guy and we set it all up and went to it. Honestly the guy wasn't too good a fighter and i must have knocked him down twenty five times, but the little guy kept getting up. It got to the point i was hating to hit him but he would not quit. Finally after two solid hours the crowd stopped the slaughter. I was never so happy to end the fight. That guy looked like someone had taken a ball bat to his face and i was barely marked, but to this day i have never seen anyone that rough and tough. It humbled me. I stopped letting people bring guys over to fight me. Even though the little guy wasn't that good a fighter, i will admit he won that fight because his will power was so strong and he taught me something i needed to learn. Sammy, if you're out there you know who i am. Thanks brother.
