The word true or truth seems to be subjective. Especially when it comes to religious claims. "Accurate and congruent to reality is a better way of thinking about it. The answer is, no. Christianity is fumamentally just storytelling with imaginary characters.

I can make an assertion right now. The purpose of this series of videos is absolutely not to "settle the debate". The creators of this video are not in possession of any information denied to others and so they are simply unable to make a decision on whether or not Christinity is true. On the subject of the existence of God and Jesus, we have no evidence to support the hypothesis and none to reject it. That is why there is a debate in the first place.

Hey! Thanks for your comment. We have to distinguish "a God" from "the God of the Bible." I agree with you on the topic of "a God" - that's not something we can prove or disprove. But the Christian God and Jesus come from the Bible, and the Bible is something we can test. This video series, which has 18 videos in total running over 4.5 hours, covers the evidence in depth, from archaeology to NT authorship to philosophical questions like, "Why do we suffer?" Ultimately, based on the evidence, I do believe it's possible to make a decision. Also, you are definitely correct that this video series is based on publicly available information (a bibliography is included in the descriptions), but having come from Christianity myself, I can attest that most Christians do NOT encounter this information. In many cases, it's actively hidden from them. That's partly why we created the video series - to explore the evidence in a compassionate way for any Christians who are seeking answers to the doubts in their hearts and minds. Is the Bible true? Was Jesus the son of God? Does the God of the Bible exist? And what do we do if they don't? Hopefully you find the series interesting. Either way, we appreciate you watching! :-)

I have been a student of religion and the bible for 40 of my 65 years and whilst i do not believe in gods or the supernatural, I have never found anything which would allow me to assert there is no god, as found in those pages. There are many internal inconsistencies and contradictions that render any claim of infallibility or inerrency unsupportable but I will watch your series with interest to learn how you intend to demonstrate the non-existence of the god of the bible.

Also what Christian’s is this guy talking to? Does he talk to any apologists? Because he’s claiming personal reasons for why Jesus is God and not actual facts. So far this just feels like a hit piece

Hi! Thanks for watching! If you check the description, you'll see a bibliography for the video series. There you'll find a number of books by apologists, from Norman Geisler to William Craig to the McDowells and more. You'll also find the scholars and literature that make the case that the Bible isn't true. Regarding your other question, I spent most of my life in Christianity. I was a born again evangelical Christian, attended Christian school, played in worship bands, won souls for Christ, and trained to become a Christian archaeologist. I can definitely attest that most of the evidence in this video WAS concealed from the community I grew up in, regardless of denomination (Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, etc.). You're right to point out that everyone has access to the internet, but we have to keep in mind many Christians (1) don't know where to look for this information, (2) are enveloped in a Christian ecosystem that often circulates misinformation (several of our videos give examples of this), and (3) those Christians believe that if they engage with this material, it will threaten their salvation. One of the reasons we created this video series was to share this information with Christians in a compassionate, helpful way. Hope that gives you a bit more insight into the project. Sorry, the Dead Sea scrolls do not prove the Bible is accurate and unchanged. They show that they were one of the many variations present in 1st Century Jewish thought, the Jesus movement being one of these, and quite different from what Christianity evolved into.
