Even if we don't get a massive HAUL for Kaner I don't really care. The important thing is that we had Kaner in Chicago for 16 seasons. If he decides to only waive for 1 team, then you have to respect that. He's done so much for Chicago, an absolute legend!

Thank you for saying that as a fan of Patrick Kane rooting for him in Chicago because of him I think he could only wave his no-trade clause for the Buffalo Sabres I think Victor olofsson and prospects we could give to you you goaltender we have we have a couple goaltending prospects in college a ton of prospects that are in the top 100 heading to the hockey news we have a ton of cap space

no the important thing is he could and should have been on the Hawks for 20+ seasons. and broken the team points and assists and games played records and maybe even the goals record. and Davidson, mr nobody from nowhere w no qualifications, ruined that. forced him off his own team. and not only that but then didn't even give him a respectable final season but buried him on a horrific team w a coach who is under orders to bury him. stuck him w linemates he couldn't play with for months. never use him w the opponent empty net even tho for 15 years he's been the best in that situation in the whole nhl. disgusting. Kane must absolutely hate Davidson and Richardson. if Davidson remains here longterm (ie past Kane's eventual retirement) I honestly expect Kane would not return to the franchise for any ceremonies while he was still here.

The Islanders had Tavares and did not trade him, expecting to re-sign him. They received zero compensation. Kane should return at least a 1st. Hawks should take it and keep building!

Kaners call he will do the right thing ask for a trade give the Hawks some options as to what teams not team so we can get back max value. Then re resigns in the summer when we daft Bedard or Frantilli.

lmao you are kidding yourself on several fronts. he doesn't care at all about 'max value' in return or helping Davidson, who he utterly hates. in fact I wouldn't be surprised if he narrowed it down to one team to destroy all leverage. and there is no way he will ever come anywhere near Davidson or Richardson again after what they've done to him this year. he hates these men. the question is why don't you?

@@vmjr543 Kane will not be returning, no. He'll maybe want to stay away from the GM who intentionally sabotages his career and the coach who keeps him stuck on a line w two guys he can't play with for four months, and never has him out there when the opponent has an empty net.

His stats are real low but looking at the roster, so is everyone’s! Rangers need a RW, with speed and scoring. Plus Panarin’s production has dipped a bit since he is without Strome this season. Adding Kane is a safe bet to help Artemi as well!

Patrick has earned more than $120 million in his career. If I were him, I'd negotiate my new contract at $1 per season to thank the Chicago fans and stay on as the team rebuilds. I think he'd benefit more than that than going elsewhere to the highest bidder. He has been such an awesome player and role model for the Hawks. Time for him to give back to the team and the Hawks fans. If he can't retire on $120 million plus his endorsement contracts, something is wrong. And, he'd never have to pay for a beer or pizza in Chicago again.

Hopefully the Hawks get the right haul for Kaner. He has been great for this franchise and we all appreciate it! People are talking about a NYR trade. There's nothing to like about Lafreniere. There's also no guarantee to land Bedard. Should also get some great pieces and picks for Towes. These guys are both Hawks legends!! Take your time Davidson. Oh, PS: If you can move Jones, please feel free to do so. His contract is not on you.

they will not get a haul and don't deserve a haul. i hope he narrows it down to one team and removes all leverage on purpose. how any Hawks fan can support Davidson is hilarious. give it a few years when you finally realize there's no rebuild. and nothing is ever getting better. you've chased off Kane, Toews and Keith and destroyed the franchise forever for nothing.

And Kane isn't a "Hawks legend". He is the Blackhawks franchise. He's bigger than all the other legends they've ever had put together. As they will discover when he's gone and they lose any connection to the era he gave them.

New York double washed to 25 percent contract value in a deal for Alexis Lafreniere, to me that makes the most sense for the Hawks if the can make it happen. Kyle Davidson will probably have to add something else to the deal in order to do it maybe the first round pick from Tampa in this years draft. Good luck with the rebuild, if they can flip this core and land Lafreniere and Bedard by camp next year like Kane and Toews that could leave them recalibrated for another top tier NHL team. 🦫

why would Kane accept a trade to a team w no chance to win the Cup? the point of leaving, for him, would be to win a Cup and produce big again. the Rangers looked like a great option - before the season started. now there are many many better options from his perspective. this isn't Davidson's trade to make, it is Kane's.

@@georgial6398 They have the defense and goaltending necessary to go deep in the playoffs, I still question the weapons of production upfront. Bringing Kane and Toews trimmed to 25 or 12.5 percent contract value in a deal for Lafreniere leaves them all the tools to win the Stanley Cup. @@chadwickbarry8371 all i know is people are writing him off as he's been on the worst team ever, not trying at all, still dinged up (going on 3 years now), and w horrible chemistry w his linemates and w the worst shooting luck in NHL history. but whoever gets Kane at the deadline is going to be getting Kane. superstar Kane. his horrific shooting luck has already been turning around in his last several games, which signals increased interest from him and better fortunes. he's virtually abandoned his main role (facilitating) after finally realizing his teammates this year literally can't finish his set ups. someone is going to get an infusion of offense and big scoring chances at big moments.
