I like how so many of these guys think that just b/c they don't see another shot, that means one isn't there. There was other options, and if you show this position to the top 10 players in the world, I promise they would come up with some other things as well.

You know who this guy is?.. Was, actually.. I saw this guy dismantle Tony Fargo playing hole.. And Tony was a great one pocket player, and a top 5 bankpool player all time.. He never left him a bank in 12 hours.. It was disgusting how good Jimmy played that night..

Shoot the 14 in to the 7 and glue em to the nearest ball. Move crap from his hole and lock the CB up. There're options.

Just tap the 14 and freeze them on the 12

i cant see the entire table but why couldnt his opponent play back off the 15 and freeze him back up on the 12 or 14 at worst hopefully doubling jimmy up

Tap job. Rest it on the 12.

why cant his opponent draw back off the 15 back to the long rail and double up that shot ...... or leave that combo with the cuball on the short rail even harder .

I don’t think he can draw it, but he could thinly cut the 15 to the head rail and out and roll the cue ball back over there and double him up like you said.. The problem with that is players of Jimmy’s caliber will just shoot that combination, especially if it lays anywhere near good.. It’s basically free, and if the other striped ball near the 14 passes the 7, and Jimmy can get his cue ball over to the other side rail, you’re in deep trouble there, too.. Simple solutions are often extremely effective, playing one pocket..
