Practiced his system for years. Speed, position of cue at address and understanding of how the table you're playing is all part of the learning process. The more you learn, the better you get the more you understand what he's telling you and realize it was "Your own lack of knowledge" not his that was the problem. Believe me he explains it well. Hard work pays off. RIP Jimmy

Years of practices does not equate mastery. Sorry you never got it down, but did learn your flaws as to why.

Took me a good minute to catch up to your numbers that you where spitting out, but you answered some questions I had that I had no idea how to ask. The 2 rail system makes a lot of sense and "seeing" how the table is playing via climate change answered my largest dilemma. Thank you =)

There is an intro. He had a 3 dvd set called Almost All I Know. The most informative dvds on pool I ever bought. I would never sell it.

and this all does not matter because every table is different and relies more on feel for the rails.... its a good base line i am sure, but slow or fast rails will fuck ya. best advice is to play simple banks on feel of the table, if you cant feel then table you cant play pool...

trying to add arbitrary numbers to your shots does not make you more accurate. the game is more about feel of the table then geometry you are shooting bananas not arrows. if you cant feel a table you cant play pool...

...nailed it, coach! cold vs. hot; new cloth vs. old cloth; clean cloth vs. dirty cloth; quality balls vs. budget balls; harder stroke vs. softer stroke; inside spin vs. outside spin vs. no spin vs. follow vs. draw; etc. Everything affects the shot! Ultimately "Feel" is what makes the shot!

Jimmy's problem never was smoking it was crank back in the day I can remember because he asked us if we had any we took Charlie Bryant on the road before anyone knew who hillbilly was it took hillbilly 12 hours to beat this guy but he got it done.

I never understood why my game is not advancing i come in and practice playing 5 days a week 3-4 hour days and i feel like im wasting my time how can i get better ive been playin for 5 years but stopped for 2 cause i lost my dominate eye. but maybe this is the reason? I used to be a 7 in APA now im a 4-5
