Hey dude. You got any advice for a guy getting prepped for pre dive. I am going down the cct pipeline too.

@@Jaeger04 Get your 50m underwater where you can do it comfortably. And it will be back to back sometimes not just one test. So do the 50 then get your heartrate under control, breathe up and do it again when able. Don't do it without supervision because 'shallow water blackout' (look it up). Then get very comfortable with water up your nose. Get comfortable being thrashed underwater (close eyes, practice flips front and back underwater to get disoriented then the ability to stay calm and resurface without looking. Toss your mask in the pool, dive down and clear it, put it on, then swim to the other end all in one go (start at the short end first and build up). Practice flutter kicks like hell. Practice the surface kick where you stay in place at the surface but your hands are held up out of the water. You'll be doing this a lot and for a long time. Then you'll need to practice the same but this time you are holding your fins above the water. It gets hard over time. What got me honestly was small stuff like a long day then doing a bunch of flutter kicks while your mask is full of water. You end up choking on it when you wear down. Bottom line get comfortable being uncomfortable and stay calm always (they watch for this big time). Good luck.
