I completely agree with you guys, I’m silver in 2s and 3s. Solos are way to easy for me. I won’t every single solo that’s its boring so I’m unranked. While in 2s and 3s teammates always are trash they get 50 points max they are just holding me back

Tolg TheTenacious ill deliver my point calmly :). Ranking system is great i agree, but i dont agree that dropping means u were carried. As much as this is memed and sounds like poor sportsmanship, tm8s can be a problem. I was champ 1 at the beginning of this season but i dropped to D2 (i was playing horribly) but the level of play and rotation is so much slower that people blame me for trying to do too much or sitting back in net when these other 2 tm8s are half rotating and not giving me a chance to pass or center. But thats just how it is :P

However, the idea that it is inescapable or unfair isn't something I subscribe to, not in the slightest. By ascending from a lower rank, one should attain sufficient knowledge to do so again, poor teammates or not. In fact, statistically speaking, there's a greater chance of victory if you're more highly ranked and matched with players from a lower division. Think about it, who is more likely to win, a team of three plats, or a team of two plats and one champ?

I agree 100 percent and I have been looking at myself thinking maybe their are things I could be doing differently rather than throwing the blame at the team. Thanks for your insight :)

Boosting is nerfed to hell and back, you will get significantly less gains, and extreme losses. But aside from that, boosting can only work up to a certain rank. And it takes a really long time. It is possible to boost up to plats, but you're not easily going to boost anybody into diamond without a lot of work. Once the teammates start to cooperate on a higher level boosting becomes very hard. Boosting is really stupid, and if you think you should be higher rank, grind for it yourself. The grind is easy if you're actually as good as you think you are. Getting that last little bit and moving to an exact level of skill comparable to your own takes a bit more time, but you'll get really close very quickly.

Yeah I agree, even when I would play in Silver/Gold with my friends a double commit would be very rare in 3s. These "plats" go for triple/quad commits tens of times every single game...

Except when you play with your friends I'm going to assume you have voice chat. Otherwise I don't believe double commits are that rare.
