Sometimes moving the boat is all about timing, things can be SO much easier if you are able to work with the wind and not against it.
Before I am able to depart for Iceland I first need to extricate the boat from a very narrow alley way in the marina that is impossible for me to traverse solo with any kind of breeze blowing as I have no bow thruster, no crew to man the fenders, no assisting dinghy and no one take the lines when I dock the boat again- impossible? Well, maybe not if I can find a moment when the breeze is sufficiently light, the tide is low and I can use my smarts to make a hard job easy. When is the bat time for such a move? Turns out the answer is about 3am.
