The first step is chewing with saliva, then the stomach , and that digestive process continues, through various processes till the liver puts glucose into your bloodstream, eventually this comes to the cells and is brought to their internal mitochondria. So, wait ... Dr. Berg is telling me that my fast metabolism is not the blessing I thought it was? I've wondered for years, "if I have a fast metabolism, why can't I lose weight?" But the Hummer vs. Hybrid Camry example was crystal clear. I need to slow down my metabolism and force my body to burn energy unnecessarily. That's why walking makes me feel great. That's why cold showers lower my anxiety. That's why I lose 2 lbs. overnight if I walked for as little as 15 minutes the previous day. This is incredible! I've just purchased resveratrol powder from Amazon, and now I'm going to go for a 20-minute walk followed by a cold shower. Man, I can't stand cold showers. My anxiety rises 10x, and I just want to escape. But when I do it for 4 or 5 minutes, get out and dry myself, I feel more energetic than ever ... for a while ... then I need to sleep because it lowers my anxiety like nothing else - and my anxiety stays pretty low for the rest of the day. Thank y.ou, Dr Berg! This video was brilliant. N.B. 100% pure resveratrol is fluffy, odorless, and tasteless, so y.ou won't even notice it. If the resveratrol y.ou buy is granular, or a powder, it's not pure resveratrol. Read the labels carefully, and watch for photos from reviews.

I was under the impression that supplements in the shape of powder or pills got broken down in the liver before Resveratrol has any chance of having any effect in the human body, it apparently has very low bioaccessibility as I understand it. I heard of some variant using the mouth, with some sort of sheet or such placed in the mouth so that the Resveratrol could use the oral mucosa to actually have effect. Haven’t seen any on the market but until I understand how the Reservatrol gets passed the liver I’m not buying any powder or pill supplement. Guess chewing a lot of blueberrys and maintaining caloric deficit is going to have to do.

Hi Dr Berg, Which brands and forms (pills or powder) of resveratrol is best as in independent testing for purity and potency?
@Drberg2 ай бұрын
I don't have any specific brands to recommend - get one with good reviews.

Congratulations!! That’s amazing. I’m trying. I just love my dark chocolate. I think that’s the last thing holding me back. Well, and bread. I just love bread. I could eat sandwiches for the rest of my life and be happy. 🤷🏼♀️

Here's what was written in the actual description of this video (under the title where it says "more...") Could 1 tablespoon per day of a potent polyphenol be the natural belly fat solution you've been searching for? Watch this video to find out. DATA: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30421... 0:00 Introduction: How to lose belly fat 0:24 Do you have a slow metabolism? 1:22 Mitochondrial uncoupling 3:05 Resveratrol benefits 4:01 Other ways to increase mitochondrial uncoupling and burn fat 5:06 What blocks mitochondrial uncoupling? Today, I'm going to tell you how to lose belly fat and burn stubborn fat fast. If you have a slow metabolism, this solution is for you! People who think they have a slow metabolism actually have an efficient metabolism. This means their body requires less fuel. To lose stubborn fat, you must get your body to waste more fuel. The mitochondria are the body's "energy factories," turning food into stored energy, known as ATP. Uncoupling occurs when the mitochondria make less ATP and more heat. Resveratrol is a natural mitochondrial uncoupler. It's found in grapes, cranberries, blueberries, dark chocolate, pistachios, and Japanese knotweed. Resveratrol is also made into a powder supplement. One tablespoon per day can help reduce belly fat by encouraging mitochondrial uncoupling. Ketones can cause mitochondrial uncoupling and improve the function of the mitochondria. Cold therapy, exercise, fasting, green tea, saunas, and jacuzzis also cause mitochondrial uncoupling. The following factors can hinder mitochondrial uncoupling, making it difficult to burn fat: Excess calories Aging Sedentary lifestyle • Heavy metal exposure Certain medications (statins, beta-blockers, Metformin, antibiotics)
