These loving letters to Timothy, a young pastor in Ephesus, reveal Paul's true love for his brother in Christ. Timothy was facing a heavy burden of responsibility, so Paul not only instructed him about the conduct of the church and its ministers but also encouraged him to stand strong for the faith against false teachings, to endure hardship, and to preach the Word.
This teaching is from our series The Bible from 30,000 Feet - 2018 with Skip Heitzig from Calvary Church.

I was in a service last night with a rabbi as a guest speaker. To him the blank page was a separation between the old and New Testament which they were now removing. Awesome news that Jesus will finally be be recognised As the messiah as with Christian’s

The grace given to us by jesus is the holy spirit isn't it? Now the spirit of truth will come and glorify the son and educate the church in all things so that you know the truth. That is if you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that God raised him on the 3rd day from death shall be saved.

Since we moved we haven’t found a home church. Then the stay at home order came. I have been really enjoying all of your videos & getting a solid study of the word! Please continue posting them, because I plan to continue watching them even when we find a home church. Frequently, my husband and daughter watch with me.

Great preaching. I still don't understand how you figured the direct path Paul walked and how they beheaded him, if he was even beheaded. I love your teaching but I can't tell anyone this.

There are a few different Christian traditions in regards to how Paul died, but the most commonly accepted one comes from the writings of Eusebius, an early church historian. Eusebius claimed that Paul was beheaded at the order of the Roman emperor Nero or one of his subordinates.

I still don't understand why Pastors are saying this with absolute certainty, instead of saying they're not sure. The Bible didn't say it, but I guess I can believe it. Not from any Historians though. I really appreciate your response. Thank you

I really enjoy how God is using you. But i question the incomplete statement you made during this session. I to believe we need to support our law enforcement. However, I took your statement as incomplete, because you didn’t address the police who break the law.

Hi! Because it's an overview of each book (a look from 30,000 feet) instead of an in-depth, exhaustive study. :)

I was all in until you went off on the woman shouldn’t tempt men. You were following history when you said modesty was about making the gathering equal for all. Leave status and wealth outside of fellowship. But you turned it into something NOT okay with Jesus teaching by putting blame on a woman for making a man have lustful thoughts. Jesus said NOTHING to woman about causing a man to lust…he spoke directly to men and said that if you look at a woman with lust you have already committed adultery with her in your heart! He said if your eye causes you to sin to pluck it out or it may lead you to touch and then your feet will take you where you shouldn’t go. David was on the roof and not in battle where he should have been. It does NOT say Bathsheba was on the roof, just that David saw her from his roof vantage. She was following Law and cleansing herself after her time of menstruating, NOT doing a sexy dance for David. David raped her and not because she asked for it. Then he killed her husband to keep from getting caught. He didn’t even feel remorse till Nathan came to him and likened Bathsheba to a ewe lamb. A defenseless lamb. I really liked listening to you but not sure I can now.

You say to pray for the police force which have a history of using excessive force and killing unlawfully without consequence, but you neglect to say to pray for the families of victims who are living without seeing justice and are constantly muted by an unjust society. That’s showing a lack of empathy and love.

Agreed, I enjoyed the teaching up until that part. You're correct it exhibited zero empathy. He would have done well to look up the actual meaning of defund and it's parameters. My advice, preach the Gospel - not propaganda.

@@upt123I hope you’ve reconsidered. The only way to defund the police and ensure our security is for everyone to follow the Ten Commandments and the teachings of Jesus.

I see unjust also. After suffering through family court and abuse in the public setting daily and calling the police force. They blatenly lie on reports to protect the abuser. Almost as if they ate being paid off. Kids for cash are schemes that involve police force being paid off to target youth fir money at juvenile centers
