Prostatitis is a disorder of the prostate gland usually associated with inflammation. Prostatitis often causes painful or difficult urination, as well as pain in the groin, pelvic area or genitals.
Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) - also called prostate gland enlargement - is a common condition as men get older. An enlarged prostate gland can cause uncomfortable urinary symptoms, such as blocking the flow of urine out of the bladder. It can also cause bladder, urinary tract or kidney problems.
Vitamin D binds to specific receptors in the prostate and bladder, and reduces inflammation and prostate growth.

Each line of yours has to be commented. Zinc requires intake of copper along with; Vit C amount after Linus Pauling (in his How to live longer...) goes regularly up to 17,000 mg = 17 g per day; I also read off regular amounts of Vit C about 10 g per day in Germany. I'd still recommend this outstanding book by the 2xNobel Prized for everyone thinking about his health. The book contains biochemistry data on other Vits and substances on about 400 pages. Exercise: These do not have any direct effect on the prostate condition at all, as many may think. However, any tadalofil - like effect less expressed is not to deny, however in nearby regions of the body; I'd agree with 3 exc: 1) stretching, 2) one yoga exc., 3) one kungfu exc. Thus, tadalofil + tamsulosin at once would do this job better if only (no guarantee). Vit D + K2 MK7 option, this is abs safe and effective for this treatment even starting with 400 -800 IU at a l l ages (NB!sic!) and relatively safe up to 3,000 IU. Above this limit you'll need to have a lab surveillance over the calcium level.

Whenever my Urologist talks about the prostate, it always leads to an attempt to schedule a prostate biopsy. There is never any recommendations to try supplements, vitamins, herbs, stretches, or anything that could help the current issue. Their course of action is to biopsy, and check PSA. Thanks for providing other options.

Well .. if your PSA number gets to high, they will certainly want to to do a biopsy. In my case, PSA spiked. Had a bioposy and cancer was found. Bottom line is ... high PSA = problem. While in hospital undergoing treatment, a gentlemen next to me had a negative biopsy result in a test. One year later another test show a positive result with aggressive type cancer cells. A biopsy is the VERY least of you concerns. Its a simple procedure when weighed against the seconds biggest cancer killer of men.
@jameslissaman8331
@jameslissaman8331 4 ай бұрын
PSA is an imperfect tool as an enlarged prostate BPH, being larger volume will also generate higher PSA and could result in an unnecessary biopsy, with its attendant risks. Somehow we need to be able to distinguish between high PSA due prostate cancer and that caused by BPH. If taking herbals like eg pygeum, saw palmetto, pumpkin seed, lycopene to reduce BPH drops PSA, does this necessarily mean reduced cancer risk?

Vitamin D deficiency has been linked to all sorts of problems, but I don’t think they’ve figured out if it’s the chicken or the egg. Is low levels of D the cause, or the symptom of an illness.
@baranjan4172

I have high levels of vitamin D but still developed prostate enlargement. That's not it. It's insulin and blood sugar. Insulin is a growth hormone, makes it want to grow, while sugar feeds the beast. No carbs in the diet = minimal insulin in the bloodstream (insulin suppressed mode) = reduced appetite, no growth stimuli. This usually leads to caloric intake reduction, and weight loss, Couple it with intermittent fasting (promoting autophagy) and the prostate shrinks. Testosterone is not the culprit. If it was, every 25 year old would be walking around with a ginormous prostate. The testosterone/estrogen balance is getting out of whack in aging males. Not enough testosterone and too much estrogen (ever heard of phytoestrogens?). Eat meat, avoid carbs, fast intermittently and watch your PSA drop.

In 1974 i was in H.S. An all boys school. I had a male teacher who would give life stories. One day he told about enlarged prostate problems. Ex. Going to pee and you can't. Then going to a proctologist abd having to get the prostate massaged. I had got a job in 1982, sitting at a desk. After a year I would go to the bathroom and couldn't pee. I then remembered the teacher, Mr. Tassin. I started standing next to my desk. Eventually I went back to normal. I was in the army, personnel sergeant from 1989 to 2004. I would stand by my desk. Never had the problem. I,m 66 now had a janitor job and now a warehouse job. On my feet. No problem.

Thank you Dr. Mandel. I recently went to my Urologist appointment and she was surprised to find my PSA level down to 3.3 from 11 within a year. I told her that I was supplementing myself with Zinc every other day, but she was skeptical about using Zinc. It worked and I'm sticking with it. I also take vitamin D, thanks to this video it has confirmed my self experiment that both vitamins has helped me including exercising with my BPH. I feel healthier from the prostate. Once again thank you for this knowledgeable video.

Hi. I’m not negating you. Maybe yours just cleared up on its own as the body can do that. Drinking salt water like you did is called a salt water flush. It’s for people with ibs c and cpnstipation. It causes an almost instant urge to go as the salt water doesn’t get digested or into your blood stream. It goes from your mouth to your large intestine within a few mins and makes you go to the bathroom within 5-10 mins. I would try your method but I know what it does if you drink 2 cups in a day 😅

for all of the haters out there ? i first watched this vid about a year or so ago. I saved it. On July 25th i had a biopsy for prostate cancer here in NZ. it popped up again in my YT feed so i watched it again after the biopsy. So i budgeted for $9.99 NZD and bought Blackmores vitamin D3 tabs. 60 tabs in the bottle 1000 units per. In this video ? he recommends starting with 2000 units. So for me == 2 tablets. It's been two days now. I have or at least had clinically diagnosed nocturia. For those that don't know what that is ? it's basically you get up to go to the loo (toilet) every 30 minutes or every hour. i'm sitting here now.....after 2 days of taking the Blackmores D3 tabs ? i haven't had the need or urgency to go to loo at all. Seriously It's changed my life. Yes i still have to wait until August 23rd to see if i have cancer or not....but man..... until then ? wow game changer. so if yu're on the fence, so to speak, about vitamin D3 ? i totally endorse it. Ptr EDIT: i used to plan my journeys when leaving my apartment based on knowing where toilets were. I no longer have that constraint. You don't know how much of a weight around my shoulders that has been lifted since the Blackmores tabs. Astounding. No i don't work for them - i'm unemployed IT Sec guru dealing with ageism

I’ve had all the pre cursors for prostate cancer for years but don’t actually have it. No enlargement, no frequent urination, blood work fine, MRI’s, two negative biopsies, only the PSA is high. My Urologist calls me “OJ” on the run from cancer. But I’ve taken a vegan D3 supplement for the past four years mainly because of what I read about a deficiency in Covid patients. Not sure if this has helped me but I will keep on taking it.

All the symptoms the urologist was ready to get invasive with from urinary flow, constipation, feeling a little nauseous and dizzy along with feeling my heart speed up at times was all due to water retention. I read an article referencing a UCSD study on “large doses of Vitamin D stoping breast cancer in its tracts” and started my wife on 20,000iu per day and it improved her numbers on her blood tests so much that I started taking it myself. She eventually died of the dreaded disease but she lived another 24 years.. I only wish the article had quantified “large doses” or, after seeing the evidence, to daring to double, triple or even quadruple that dose in the face medically limited dosages, she 🎉might still be here with us.

Flow has greatly improved, size must have reduced as I don't feel the pressure of something when I lay on my side at night in the perineum. I dont get up at night and I sleep deep.
