There are also the intermediates. They may be able to beat the N Tropy times and they can win against AIs and can get in good places in online races. I'd say I'm in this category.

and another small tip: Use U-turns *a lot*. I use U-turn on every track, no matter what track it is, it always helps. Learn to use it regularly. At certain times you can save yourself from falling, losing all of your reserves/fire, if you start drifting little bit more towards the walls of the track, then you can use U-turn to not fall and save yourself, etc... So yeah, learn how to use it, and use it regularly. Coming from a player, which by WumpaLewis is called "Gods," so I know what I'm talking about.

It took me a bit to get the hang of u-turning as well because I use the joy stick rather than the d-pad I love using it on electron avenue though

It's strange how breaking during the trick does not remove fire But the reason this is, is because you are technically still hitting the gas, just in reverse, however the fire keeps you moving forward

seeing polar get the apexes of those turn right makes me pleased

I just figured out how to do blue fire a couple weeks ago,but I never understood how to keep it,but I think your video is going to help me out alot

I’ve had the game since day one, religiously played it, and religiously played the original CTR and somehow didn’t pick up on this. I’ve always considered myself to be between the advanced and god-like tier but could never fully make the transition. I was using the “brake only in the air” method and it got me by for the most part but I was always curious how people were still turning even more sharply. It’s interesting that you can actually HOLD the brake button while performing this technique, since that would be the last thing that would come to mind. Definitely going to be grinding time trials after this.

As if our conversation lead to this 😂 I guess you could say that you're a ctr god now. I got a time of 1.42.50 on deep sea driving with the U-turn during the tube section. I'd love to see a video where you do it on deep sea driving. On dragon mines I got a time of 1.27. Without the short cut because screw that.

Practising on Electron Avenue is a great way to do this. Also great if you're farming with a friend for the Wumpa Coin Bonus weekend.

Last time we have Spyro, Hunter and Gnasty Gnorc is in Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled. We need Elora, Bianca, Professor, Sheila, Bentley, James Byrd, Agent 9, Moneybags, Sorcerers, Ripto, Crush and Gulp

Currently dealing with the last few Oxide ghosts and have been stuck on Dragon Mine's for a while...gotten really close a few times but the loss of speed on that corkscrew combined with the mine cart are causing me a lot of trouble....will have to try this method now.

You missed one type of player: Intermediate. These are the players that aren't new to the game, but haven't quite been able to beat Oxide's ghosts, don't always seem to get the best times, and are having trouble with timing down perfect power-slide boosts. They are fully capable of beating Story mode entirely, and maybe win races now and then, but have a very tough time keeping up with Advanced players.

So basically this video is about U-Turning? but I'm pretty sure U-Turning on the ground and air braking are not the same (you don't need to hold "down" while air braking).

Trust me EVERYONE and their mom knows about Airbraking also known as U-Turn by now. Its the biggest gamebraker in the game and makes the handling stat useless. U-Turn is also the reason why Speed characters are god Tier. U-Turn needs to be removed more then anything right now.

The reason that I can't hold my USF in some tracks is because that I get hit by 1551561 items at the same time in online lobbies. I defeated Oxide on every track on my FIRST try (except for 3 tracks that took me some time). So I think I'm somewhere between Advanced and God

You should have a 4th category for intermediate players. (This class is between begineers and advanced players.) I would consider myself an intermediate player. I am not as good as you but I would not consider myself a begineer. I am good because I have been playing CTR a long time and I understand the tracks. I don't always win but if I don't I get in 2nd or 3rd.

I could never do this and I've been playing for months now. And it's the reason I only use the turn class.

*I don't understand why there isn't a tutorial in the game for this.* I've beaten all the Oxide ghosts and just recently found out about this because I was trying to figure out how the fuck to beat Velo ghosts.

I’m a player who can win a lot of online races but struggles with n trophy races

I don't have ps plus so I can't play online but I beat every Oxide ghost on every single track, completed the story mode 101%,hardly mess up anything in races and hard mode is like easy for me I have massive lead every race so I don't know where that puts me on the list of crash team racing nitro fueled players

I can beat the N-Tropy Ghosts but I haven't touched Oxide at all, and I feel pretty damn good at this game. There is a huge span up to the skill ceiling. (I did get the game last Friday only working off of cnk experience but still, I scared of ever touching Oxide, cant even beat N-Tropy on that Egyptian cortex stage)
