Okay that hyper speed way one does not need blue fire at all. I've done it with regular triplepowerslide boost and by purposely jumping off the top part right before, air braking to do a sharp right and landing on the top part of the ramp and still making it. All you need is to have the boost speed for the whole jump. If it runs out mid air that's when you will not make that short cut. Blue fire is just the safest way to make that shortcut because even if it runs out mid air it will have already shot you out enough to make the jump anyways.

@@TheViperian I would say its Medium-Hard. Yes its easy with UBF, but you can do it without it. HOWEVER! One thing that is important is: 1) You don't start off with low tier fire and 2) jump at the edge (very precise timing required)

Alternate way of doing the hyper spaceway short cut: drift boost and jump of the edge of the floor. This does not require blue flame

*I've missed out 1 more shortcut at Polar Pass.* You can use Blue Fire to jump to the opposite side if you have the speed too @ 5:41 . Also, you don't need Blue Fire for the Hyper Spaceway shortcut, but it will make your life much easier & faster with it 😄

Also 1 shorcut in speed colisseum and Blizzard Bluff. Right to the left at the start of the race there is a gap where you can go through in both maps

For the hyper speedway shortcut, its doable with regular SF. Usf makes it easier

Thanks a lot! Didn't know about a couple of those. However, when I tried the one in hyper spaceway, it did work without blue fire, you just have to get the last boost just before jumping.

The first clockwork is the easiest to me, you don’t need to boost, you can just jump.

5:54 as an veteran ctr nitro fueled player i can say that roo's tubes shortcut is definitely not an easy as it might sound. you have to really drive in the middle of the wall and light pillar precisely and of course if you drive without boosts and stuff that is easy but imagine that with sacred fire? yeah not easy as it might sound. expecially if you are trying to get good times in time trial and i mean very good times in competitively, that shortcut can easily mess the most experienced player too.

Prehistoric playground, second shortcut: Be careful, if you're on BF, take the jump a bit early, as taking it to late (right at the edge) will send you to in the void. Electron avenue: Tip: try to air break for long enough to take the higher speed pod, it will allow you to avoid the electric barrier. Papy Pyramid (second): After jumping on the platform, jump on the right, as if you were trying to go to the wrong direction, then airbreak back in the right direction. You can fall on the speed pad and maintain your speed if you had enough bossts.

U-Turn* Air brake is the sharp turn without releasing x so you always freeze I'm mid-air while still turning U-Turn is when that doesn't happen and you do release x.

@@freds2150 U turn often sends you in places you don't wabt to be. Whenevr that's the case you should air break. Otherwise, u turn.

@@xord1946 look dude, I've gotten really used to U-Turns it's so hard to stop it I can't just be like; Ok time to stop U-Turning and I stop I just can't it's much smoother and easier and is much faster than Air Brake so try to get used to it, if you can't, well it's okay you can still use Air Brakes. Okay? Okay.

@@freds2150 I dont think U turn allows you to take the higher speed pod on EA. Also, Air break allows you to pick an item after getting out of the tunnel.

Blizzard bluff fence cut isn’t hard. You need to do 1 hop in the snow and then hop when on the little bump

the hyper spaceway shortcut, you can actually make without blue fire, you just need boost, and you need to jump at the left most part of that ramp to hit the ground closest to you. its especially harder using a turn car setup, but i've managed to do it.

The 2nd Hot Air Skyway one is far from Hard. The only thing you have to remember is to hold the brake just a bit longer to make the turn a whole lot more sharp just like the Electron Avenue one to let you land on the ramp instead to avoid the laser beam hitting you

I’ve seen a lot of videos but non are as quality and as well editing as these I knew most of the shortcuts but I also watched the Air breaking video and I’ve seen a lot of videos about air breaking but I’ve never actually learnt how to do it and with your steps I learnt it instantly.😊👍 And I’ve been watching Polarsaurusrex/WumpaLewis for about 2 months or so

You missed a shortcut in Polar Pass, at the U-shaped area. If you have blue fire you don't even need to hit the second turbo pad, you can just jump off the edge of the track. It requires air-braking to not end up in the water. It's definitely the hardest shortcut.

There is a 3rd shortcut in hot air skyway it does require the super boost pad cheat and timing the jump just right on the last turbo ramp cutting past the tunnel on the left side you can see the start/finish line jump in that direction with yellow or orange fire be careful though need a quick trigger finger to time the jump

God tier tip i saw to turn sewer speedway shortcut into easy mode is to remember to HOLD the jump button as u hit it, literally works like magic

Basicaly meteor gorge have 3 shortcuts before last shortcut thats a mini/low hill that is a bit hard to drift boost and before falling jump

I can't do the Dragon Mines shortcut but I can drive the corkscrew perfectly. Luckily very few people can use that shortcut efficiently and won't usually even try to use it.

Just want to add that Prehistoric Playground's first shortcut NEEDS blue fire lvl 2; there are 2 blue fire pads in the track, the one from the beginning and the one in the end. The speed they give is different, so don't believe that you have blue fire and don't need the other pad now (in case you lost the fire during the lap) Also, the shortcut in Thunderstruck is missing, that might be the hardest.

Well, it's standard for Crash Team Ranking, I know that community is not official, but I think is a good reference. Also, I believe it is intended, the jump is very precise with the blue fire lv 2 🤔

@@TheViperian Thunderstruck has a shortcut that requires blue fire. You can jump over the hole to the right that's after the gargoyle statue (I think that's what it is) that people respawn from hitting with blue fire.

That one is deceptively easy. It looks like the distance is a little to great even when boosting into it, but to your surprise, you actually make it onto/over the tire.

Only the hot air sky way bump I'd never seen. Also the u turn on hot air skyway can glitch and fuck you over Online and not count your lap. I don't know why, but I lost a whole lap because of it twice online. Dunno if its patched, this was in January.

You forgot Hot Air Skyway after the USF (Blue Fire) pad you can go to the right and go to a shorter path.

Blizzard Bluff river shortcut does not require sacred fire you can do it with triple-power-slide or even double-power-slide (Triple-power-slide is normal but double-power-slide one is glitchy)

The difficulty categories are not consistent I think. But then again the difficulty of the shortcuts is very subjective.

Some of your rankings are very questionable... The "medium" shortcut in clockwork wumpa may be one of the easiest in the game, I can't think of anything difficult about it. It also makes the track easier than by taking the regular route. The one in Hyperspace speedway does NOT require blue fire, doesn't even require much speed, and makes the track far, far easier. I have no idea how you ranked it as "hard". Also, the one in dragon mines is unbelievably hard for me, at least to optimize. You need to take it when you're right behind a kart, or else you just get smashed by another one coming from behind.

Tbh that clockwork wumpa shortcut is easy, but not as easy as just a simple jump without boost will do. Still requires drift boosting to get on it. I should've placed it easy medium at the least. Yea I get alot of feedback about the hyper spaceway one. When I made this video, it's really difficult to do it without blue fire because while yes u can make it without, it just feels sluggish. Especially with turn driving styles now. (Dragon mines is a pain in the ass because of how narrow it is,I agree) Appreciate the feedback jackboy1992! 😄

@@TheViperian You can very easily get the clockwork wumpa shortcut without any kind of boost. Just a normal jump is enough.

@@TheViperian thanks for the reply, I didn't even think you'd see this. I'm used to play with speed characters, so maybe I have a bias towards certain shortcuts, that are easier for those characters. I'd have to try it with slower characters, but the shortcut in clockwork wumpa seems to me like you can just hop with no speed to get it, idk
